| Architecture is changing from a functional space to beautify and develop the vitality of the urban environment in the contemporary era.As a result,the architectural skin also plays an important role in the modern development of architecture through materials,technology and modeling,and becomes one of the active public art forms in the city.Architectural skin has become a frontier discipline in the exploration of architecture,public art and environmental design.Modern ceramic wall is also a new direction full of exploration in China.The modern ceramic wall is different from the traditional ceramic wall.It is not a decorative painting hanging on the wall at will,nor is it a common ceramic wall in the city.Instead,it is a new art form developed by Japanese avant-garde artists after World War II in the context of the popularity of internationalist style architecture,absorbing western modern ceramic ideas,and then combining with architecture.It takes the expression of ideas,aesthetics and the unique "clay" of ceramics as its essential characteristics.China’s modern ceramic wall is still in the primary stage of development.Since the term "ceramic wall" was introduced into China from Japan in the 1980 s and 1990 s,Chinese ceramic wall art has gradually developed from practical to modern art.Although modern ceramic wall has been recognized in the domestic ceramic art circle,due to the fact that urban construction efforts still need to be improved,and China’s "modern ceramic art" started relatively late in developed countries(such as Japan,the United States,European countries,etc.),the number of modern ceramic wall works in China(especially in the mainland)is very small,and most of them was used for interior decoration.Based on the above facts,this paper puts forward the view of unifying the modern ceramic wall and the architectural skin.From a shallow level,this combination has a positive role in promoting both architecture and modern ceramic wall;From a deep level,unifying them can play an important role in many aspects,such as urban renewal and beautification,urban culture formation,improvement of urban residents’ aesthetic and cultural identity,and protection of traditional culture,including ceramic culture.With the rapid development of science and technology,human society has entered the digital era,and the construction method of modern ceramic wall also needs to keep pace with the times.Highly developed digital technology enables creators to more clearly master the form of architecture and works,so that creators can create more effectively and conveniently,thus unifying art form and science and technology.The author hopes to explore the role and impact of the combination of art and technology on human-machine-environment through the article and practice,takes the digital creation of modern ceramic wall of exterior wall as the starting point,and provides a new perspective and direction for later workers.This paper adopts a variety of research methods such as interdisciplinary,case analysis and experimental analysis.First of all,it systematically combs the function of modern ceramic wall as architectural skin,demonstrates the advantages of the unity of modern ceramic wall and architectural skin from multiple angles,proves the material and spiritual functions of modern ceramic wall as architectural skin with existing cases,and summarizes the principles and methods required for modern ceramic wall creation from the perspective of architectural skin.Secondly,it deduces the digital way that can be used for the construction of ceramic wall in each stage through the existing technology,explains the existing technology with cases,and tries to analyze the possibility that the digital construction of modern ceramic wall can promote the development of current technology.At last,it uses ceramic 3D printing,digital projection and other information technology for personal practice and exploration,and summarizes the complete technology of making modern ceramic walls under the current technical conditions. |
