Yan Zhen takes intellectuals as the narration object and takes their daily life and inner world as the main narration content to construct his artistic world,so as to realize his exploration of human spiritual space and the pursuit of aesthetic realm. In the four novels "once at the end of the earth","the water of the waves","because of women" and "above living",Yan Zhen combines the description of the daily life of modern intellectuals with the exploration of the inner spiritual world, and dissolves the narration ethics into the narration of daily life and the inner world, between the content and form of the story,Then it conveys the individual bioethics feeling of intellectuals in Yan Zhen’s works and puts forward the problem of bioethics feeling. The narration ethics of Yan Zhen’s novels are mainly reflected in three levels: intention ethics, story ethics and narrative ethics. The sending subject of intention ethics is divided into real author, implied author and narrator. The real author’s thinking about modernity, the inheritance of the root of traditional culture, the identification of self-identity and the understanding of self life feelings provide ideological and spiritual sources for his literary creation. The implied author has different ethical attitudes and intentions in different literary works. As the narrator of the story, his narration is divided into reliable narration and unreliable narration. The life dilemma of modern intellectuals, the construction of Ethical Utopia and tragic ending are the main manifestations of the story ethics of Yan Zhen’s novels. The protagonists of the novel are in the period of social transformation, facing the oppression of modern giant discourse and in multiple difficulties. They struggle between reality and ideal, hoping for the emergence of Ethical Utopia,so as to obtain the salvation of their own spirit and soul. But in the narrow living space of real life, they can not change the social reality on their own,and their spiritual beliefs are constantly subverted by the cruel social reality. The final tragic outcome is not only the tragedy of individual life, but also the social tragedy of intellectual groups. The narrative ethics of Yan Zhen’s novels is mainly reflected in the choice of narrative perspective, narrative time and space, and the application of rhetorical art.The theme meaning of narrative text is always deeply expressed by relying on narrative form, which is why Yan Zhen is committed to the unique presentation of narrative form.Yan Zhen has his unique considerations in narrative perspective, narrative time, space and the application of rhetorical art,and all reflect the corresponding life feeling and ethical connotation. The narrative form of "monologue" and "dialogue" is an important feature of the narrative art of Yan Zhen’s novels. It adopts a large number of inner monologues, self dialogue and self imagination to express the depth of ethical feeling in individual life and the debate of spiritual problems in individual soul.In terms of the current development status of narration ethical criticism, narration ethical research is developing towards a new road of integrating ethical criticism and formal criticism,The narration content focusing on individual life and soul, and the narrative mode combining "monologue" and "dialogue" are new dimensions of narrative ethics research and literary creation,so as to present the ethical connotation and significance of story content and narrative form, and explore the ethical feeling hidden in the implicit dialogue between the narration subject, the receiving group and the narration text.
