The transitive conjunction “buguo” is an important language point in second language teaching.It is found that second language learners have different types of errors when acquiring the conjunction “buguo”.The purpose of this article is to analyze the cases of errors of second language learners at elementary and intermediate levels,to summarize the types of errors,the causes of errors,and to make suggestions for teaching and textbook development.The article consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introductory part firstly explains the reason and significance of the topic,and then summarizes the usage characteristics of the conjunction “buguo” and the current situation of second language acquisition research,and finally introduces the research content,research ideas,research methods and sources of the article.The first chapter examines the usage of the conjunction “buguo” from three aspects: syntactic,semantic and pragmatic.It is found that the semantic relations of the conjunction mainly include equivalence,intersection and opposition.The pragmatic features are mainly progressive emphasis,topic change,alternating turns of speech,and euphemism and relief.In the second chapter,the ontology of “buguo” is studied,and learners’ biased corpus is categorized into syntactic,semantic and pragmatic biases,and on this basis,a questionnaire is set up to analyze the different types of biased corpus and the results of the questionnaire.The analysis found that the misplaced substitution of “buguo”with other related words was the most common error among second language learners.For the more difficult types of biases in the corpus,such as mis-addition and default biases,the bias rate of second language learners is also higher.In Chapter 3,the learners’ biases are classified into mis-substitution bias,mis-addition bias,omission bias and other biases by combining the biases in the corpus and the questionnaire,and the causes of the biases are analyzed in five aspects:negative transfer of native language,negative transfer of knowledge of the target language,the complexity of the target language itself,the influence of the learning environment and the influence of learning strategies.Based on the above analysis,Chapter 4 proposes to pay attention to the systematization of related knowledge,strengthen the teaching of easily confused conjunctions,choose appropriate teaching methods and enrich the forms of classroom exercises in terms of teaching.In terms of teaching materials,it is proposed to arrange the important and difficult points reasonably,set the teaching sequence scientifically,improve the recurrence rate of “buguo”,and standardize the English interpretation of“buguo”.The concluding section summarizes the main contents of the article and points out the shortcomings of the research. |
