The Historical Production And Communication Logic Of Yan’an Yangge Opera

As a special art form,Yan’an Yangge Opera reflects the special dimension and historical experience of Yan’an discourse.From the initial artistic creation to the determination of the text,and then to the participation of the whole people,the production and dissemination of Yangge opera has gone through a complicated process.With the help of relevant theories of communication and text analysis method,this paper takes Brother and Sister Reclaiming the Wastelands as a typical text to explore the historical production and communication logic of Yan’an Yangge Opera,which has special significance for the study of Yan’an literature and art.The production and dissemination of Yan’an Yang opera highlights a special internal logic.In other words,taking the Speech at the Yan’an Symposium on Literature and Art and the birth of Brother and Sister Reclaiming the Wastelands as the time points,The historical development of Yan’an Yangge opera shows the evolution from the prelude period based on traditional Yangge,the inception period with Speech at the Yan’an Symposium on Literature and Art as the outline to the prosperity period with Brother and Sister Reclaiming the Wastelands as the model.As a typical text,Brother and Sister Reclaiming the Wastelands on the level of production shows the systematic generation of producers,production content and production mode.At the same time,at the level of dissemination,based on the Yan’an communication context,the multidimensional construction of the communicator,the recipient,the mode of dissemination and the function of dissemination indicates the systematic tension of the historical production of Yan’an Yang opera and the special connotation of the logic of dissemination.It is found that Yan’an Yangge Opera is the crystallization of political elites,intellectuals and the public.It focuses on the content production of labor,Anti-Japanese War and education,and realizes the symbiotic relationship between mass media and artistic texts.In this process,while producing and spreading Yan’an Yangge opera,intellectuals also completed the transformation of their own thoughts.Based on this,the spread of Yan’an Yangge Opera realized the historical goal of propagating the Communist Party of China’s major policies and mobilizing the masses of workers and peasants to actively produce in order to safeguard the revolutionary regime in the border area.As a form of literature and art,Yan’an Yangge Opera has explored a new path of popularization of literature and art as well as ethnic forms,and practiced the cultural orientation of popularization and nationalization,which has important functional instructions for the mass culture communication under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Although there are some historical deficiencies such as simple form and strong utility,the historical production and communication logic of Yan’an Yangge Opera has special historical value.It opened a new mode of revolutionary literature and art to learn from and transform old forms,deepened the popularization and nationalization of literature and art,strengthened the Yan’an mode of propaganda,mobilization and enlightenment,and demonstrated the unique historical experience and practical significance of the Yan’an communication discourse system of the Communist Party of China.
