Objective: Internet Addiction Disorder(IA)is defined as a kind of psychological dependence on the Internet, which has become a serious social problem, accompanied by serious mental health problems.Although studies on the correlation between material addiction and self-conscious emotion have found that there is a negative correlation between material addiction and shame in self-conscious emotion,Internet addiction,as a kind of behavioral addiction, the two-way relationship with self-conscious emotion and the neura l mechanism of self-conscious emotion in Internet addiction are not clear. In this study, the correlation between Internet addiction and self-conscious emotion was analyzed by scale, and the event-related potential technique was used to explore the neuroel ectrical activity of self-conscious emotion.the suggestion-decision point estimation interpersonal game paradigm was used to study the processing characteristics of different self-consciousness emotion of Internet addicts,so as to provide new ideas for c linical treatment of Internet addiction. Methods: Eighty-seven college students aged between 16 and 23 were recruited from Hefei,of which 42 were classified as Internet addicts and the 45 were healthy controls. The subjects were evaluated and screened by the Internet Addiction scale. Each subject completed the self-made general situation questionnaire, guilt and shame tendency questionnaire, true pride and pride scale and Hamilton depression scale. Then the participants were invited to complete the EEG exp eriment paradigm and record the event-related potential data in different self-conscious emotional situations.Independent sample T test was used to analyze the scale data, and repeated measurement analysis of variance was used for EEG behavior data. Results: The study found that the degree of depression in the Internet addiction group was significantly higher than that in the healthy control group(t=27.699,p<0.05),and there was no significant difference in th e guilt tendency between the Internet addicti on group and the healthy control group(t=1.912,p>0.05),where there was a significant difference in the dimension of guilt-negative behavior evaluation(t=2.606,p<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the dimension of guilt-compensation(t=0.194,p>0.05).There was a significant difference between the shame tendency of the Internet addiction group and the healthy control group(t=-3.218,p<0.05),among which there was a significant difference in the shame-withdrawal dimension(t=-3.786,p<0.05),and the shame-negative There was no significant difference in self-evaluation dimension(t=-1.065,p>0.05).There was no significant difference in the tendency of pride between the Internet addiction group and the healthy control group(t=0.167,p>0.05).Behavioral data showed that under the condition of guilt, there was a significant difference in the number of guilt choices between the two groups(t=2.81,p<0.05),and the number of times the subjects in the healthy control group chose guilt was more(M=38.58,SD=7.64).in Internet addiction group(M=32.43,SD=10.93).Under the condition of shame, there was a significant difference in the number of s hame choices between the two groups(t=-2.54,p<0.05),and the number of times the subjects in the healthy control group chose shame(M=23.29,SD=10.20)was less than that in the Internet addiction group(M=29.60,SD=11.06).Under the proud condition, ther e was no significant difference in the number of times the two chose to be proud(t=1.16,p>0.05).The results of event-related potentials showed that on the P2 component, the interaction between the type of self-awareness emotion and the group was signifi cant(F(2,81)=4.039,p<0.05),and under the emotion of shame, the P2 amplitude of the Internet addiction group was significant Greater than the healthy control group(F(1,82)= 5.198,p<0.05).On the P3 component, the interaction between the type of self-awareness emotion and the group was significant(F(2,81)=7.927,p<0.05).Under the emotion of shame, the amplitude of P3 in the Internet addiction group was significantly greater than that in the healthy control group(F(1,82)=4.507,p<0.05).Conclusion: The Internet addiction group is more likely to have negative comments on their behavior than the normal control group,so the sense of shame is stronger, coupled with the lack of social support,so it is more likely to have depression.Depression can caus e individuals to experience more shame after experiencing adverse events. In the same shame situation, the P2 and P3 amplitudes of the Internet addiction group were larger than those of the normal control group, which also reflected that the Internet addiction group would experience more shame emotions. Therefore, reducing the sense of shame can provide a new idea for the clinical treatment of Internet addiction. |
