A Study On Home Consciousness In Sun Huifen’s Novels

As a female writer in Liaoning Province,Sun Huifen has attracted wide attention in the academic circle since she entered the literary world.On the one hand,the study of Sun Huifen’s novels is helpful to understand the changes of her literary thought and literary style as a female writer,and to explore the spiritual direction behind her homeland consciousness in her novels.On the other hand,it is also helpful to understand the overall literary creation of contemporary female writers in Northeast China.Starting from the home consciousness in Sun Huifen’s novels,this paper analyzes the generation of home consciousness and the text expression of home consciousness,so as to dig out the spiritual direction of home consciousness in the novels,and on this basis,summarizes the artistic characteristics and literary significance of Sun Huifen’s novels under the home consciousness.First of all,the introduction part of this paper expounds the origin of the study of home consciousness in Sun Huifen’s novels from two aspects.Then it defines the related concepts of home consciousness and briefly summarizes the different manifestations of home consciousness in different stages in the development of Chinese literature.Then the research status of Sun Huifen’s novels is sorted out and the main research results are summarized in several aspects.Finally,the research ideas and methods are pointed out.The first chapter analyzes the generation of Sun Huifen’s novel home consciousness.Mainly from their own growth experience and northeast regional infiltration and modern writers’ spiritual enlightenment three aspects.Before entering the city,Sun Huifen’s novel home consciousness continuously accumulated and unconsciously originated.After entering the city,with the enrichment of Sun Huifen’s life experience,the sense of home continues to ferment and gradually becomes the object of her conscious pursuit,and these two aspects become the natural source of the generation of the sense of home in her novels.The folk custom and cultural spirit of Northeast China imperceptiously infiltrated Sun Huifen,and the enlightenment of modern writers Shen Congwen and Xiao Hong to Sun Huifen’s mind played a strong role in the formation of the homeland consciousness in Sun Huifen’s novels.Under their influence,Sun Huifen "has the homeland in her mind" and "the real home in her mind".Chapter two analyzes the textual expression of Sun Huifen’s novel home consciousness.The sense of home in Sun Huifen’s novels is mainly manifested in the two literary Spaces she constructed: rural home and urban home.In the writing of rural home,Sun Huifen’s sense of home is mainly reflected in the two themes of "leaving" and "returning to the countryside",which shows the contradiction between the migrants and the returnees towards the countryside home,and the countryside becomes the combination of their physical escape and spiritual return.In the writing of urban home,it is mainly expressed through the experiences and encounters of two types of urban groups,women and men,showing their struggle and yearning for the city.Chapter three analyzes the spiritual direction of Sun Huifen’s novel home consciousness.The spiritual orientation of home consciousness in Sun Huifen’s novels is mainly manifested in three aspects.On the one hand,it reveals the lack of "home sense" of migrants in the process of modernization,points out the identity anxiety of "home loss" and "rootless" of migrants,as well as the active exploration of "home seeking" and "root seeking".The second aspect is to construct the spiritual home of the writer’s mind.The writer hopes to "seek spiritual heights in the history of the soul" and "seek spiritual heights of self-redemption".The third aspect is to explore the spiritual level of the home world of human beings,thinking about the spiritual predicament and human nature in the home of human existence,so that it can transcend in the continuous "escape" and "return" of life,and deepen in the continuous progress of modernization.The fourth chapter summarizes the artistic characteristics of Sun Huifen’s novels under the consciousness of home.On the one hand,it is a family-centered narrative mode.The ideas of "family" and "family" are reflected in Sun Huifen’s novel writing,so it reflects a family-centered narrative mode in her novel narration,which is embodied in the daily narrative structure of home and diversified narrative perspectives of home.On the other hand,it is the "simple" writing style of home,which is the result of Sun Huifen’s simple life attitude and philosophical thinking into her novel writing,and finally manifests itself as "simple" realistic writing techniques and "simple" literary pursuit.Chapter five points out the literary significance and limitation of Sun Huifen’s novels under the sense of home.Under the guidance of home consciousness,the literary significance of Sun Huifen’s novels is mainly reflected in two aspects.On the one hand,the writing of home in her novels is of great significance to enrich the genealogy of home in contemporary Northeast literature field.The literary home under her pen and the literary home under the pen of other female writers in Northeast China enrich the genealogy of literary home in Northeast literature field;On the other hand,the folk stance and the bottom perspective reflected in the sense of home also have important literary significance and value for enriching the bottom writing in contemporary literature.At the same time,Sun Huifen’s novels also have shortcomings,that is,they show relatively simple limitations in literary themes.However,Sun Huifen did not stop there,and she constantly broke through and updated herself in her subsequent novel writing.
