Since the 21st century,the scientific and technological revolution has been in full swing in human society,and the conflict between technical rationality and value rationality has become increasingly significant.The development of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies has brought the relationship between human beings and creatures to the front of people,and people are gradually paying more attention to the future science fiction with human beings as the main body.Two writers,Kazuo Ishiguro and Wang Jinkang,have been able to keep up with the development issues of The Times,focusing on the contradictions between man and post-human,and creating a series of amazing science fiction.The way and form of time and space structure in the works of the two writers,as well as the selection and shaping of the characters,all show the same or different forms.The universal ethical values determine the similarity of the two writers in the creation ethics,and subject to the long-term edification of different national cultures and individual differences in the writers’ growth experiences,there are also many differences in the concrete expressions projected in the text.This paper will use the methods of close reading,parallel research and cross-cultural research to specifically study the three narrative dimensions of the two writers’ typical works.The main part of the article mainly selects the writing style of time and space,the main image building,the ethical value orientation of the two writers to make a comparative analysis.The first part mainly analyzes the homogeneity of the spatio-temporal structure in the two writers’ texts.Based on the commonality of the two writers’ selection of time nodes with relatively close time intervals and the daily spatial field,it analyzes the unbalanced performance of time elements in the linear chain of texts and the diversified characteristics of spatial representation in the physical attributes.The second part summarizes the general characteristics of the group of characters in the text,studies the similarities and differences between the human group and the posthuman group in the text of the two writers combined with the theory of others,respectively analyzes the identity positioning of the two contradictory subjects in the human society and the differences hidden in the group,and finally clarifies the different tendencies of the overall characteristics of the characters in collectivism and individualism.The third part explores the ethical trend in the text,compares the ethical symbols and creative ethics in the text of the two writers,and further explores the ideological source behind them. |
