Research On The Social Function Of Tianjin's "Ximatou Bairen Jingyangge Stilts

"West Pier Bairenjing Yangko Stilt" is a folk dance spread for a long time in Tianjin,with a history of 200 years,and is an important symbol of the historical and cultural achievements of Tianjin area.It not only has a long history,profound cultural deposits and characteristic performance forms,more importantly,it plays a unique function invisibly in the society.The function of "West Pier Bairenjing Yangko Stilts" is mainly reflected in its performance form and content,and the function it plays changes with the development of society.In ancient society,Baiendurance stilts mainly played the functions of entertaining oneself and others,offering sacrifices and praying,and communicating.In contemporary society,the functions of self-entertainment and entertaining others come down to entertainment functions,among which cognitive,educational and physical functions are developed.In the evolution of functions,Bairenjing Yangko stilts breed new cultural inheritance,economic benefits and artistic education functions.Its functions need to be played in some way,such as through the power of the government and different groups,strengthening the activities of intangible cultural heritage into the campus and the spread of emerging technologies.Therefore,this paper adopts the research methods of literature,comparison and interview,takes the Tianjin "West Wharf Bairen Jingyangge Stilts" as the research object,based on its historical origin,cultural background and form,excavates the unique functions and effects of the "West Wharf Bairen Jingyangge stilts" in different periods,and analyzes the evolution of its functions.Finally,it tries to explore the way to play its functions and give full play to its unique functions,so as to better integrate it into people’s social life,which has a certain significance for enhancing the vitality and influence of "West Wharf Bairenjing Yangko stilts".
