Comparative Study On The Words Used In Zheng Xuan's Annotations In The Handwritten And Engraved Versions Of Wenxuan Zh

This paper compares the data of Zheng Xuan’s notes in the Annotations of Literary Selection(selected materials are Collected Notes on Tang Banknotes by Zhou Xunchu,representing the Japanese and Tang manuscripts,and the Dunhuang Turpan Manuscripts by Rao Zongyi)with those in the engraved Annotations of Literary Selection(taking Hu’s engraved Annotations of Literary Selection as an example),and analyzes the different characters used in the manuscript and engraved manuscripts as well as the relationship types.Explore the characters of the folk materials,and a comprehensive collection of Zheng Xuan’s notes in the written and engraved the Annotations of Literary Selection.It is hoped that it can provide reference for the studies in the fields of Chinese script writing,Chinese character application,study of the Literary Selection and Zheng study.The main contents of this paper include: the introduction part introduces the research object,the significance of the topic selection,the innovation and research methods of this paper,as well as the research status of the study of the Literary Selection,the research of the Annotations of Literary Selection,the research of manuscript of the Literary Selection and the Annotations of Literary Selection,the literature cited in the Literary Selection,the theory of inter-word relations and so on.The first chapter compares the data of Zheng Xuan’s notes in the Dunhuang Turpan manuscript the Annotations of Literary Selection with that in the carved manuscript the Annotations of Literary Selection.It is found that there are more or less characters in the Dunhuang Turpan manuscript the Annotations of Literary Selection.With the help of Prof Li Yunfu’s theory of literature intercharacter relations,the author makes a systematic comparative study of the relationship between characters used in handwritten and engraved texts,and sums up five types of relationship between characters used in handwritten and engraved texts,the relationship between characters used in handwritten and engraved texts,the relationship between characters borrowed and borrowed,the relationship between characters used in manuscript and borrowed,the relationship between characters used in manuscript and borrowed,the relationship between characters used in manuscript and not engraved.The second chapter makes a comparative study of Zheng Xuan’s notes in Wen Xuan Jizhu,which represents the characteristics of Japanese manuscripts,and finds that Wen Xuan Jizhu have more characters,less characters and different characters.With the help of Prof Li Yunfu’s theory of literature interword relations,the author makes a systematic comparative study of the characters used in manuscript and engraving,and sums up six types of character relations,namely,the relationship between the original character and the original character,the relationship between the original character and the borrowed character,the relationship between the borrowed word and the borrowed word,the relationship between the original character and the wrong word,the relationship between the wrong word and the wrong word,and the different characters.The third chapter studies the characteristics of folk characters in the data of Zheng notes quoted in the Turpan manuscripts of Dunhuang and Wen Xuan Jizhu respectively,taking the two as the research objects.It is concluded that there are 13 types of folk characters in the Turpan manuscripts of Dunhuang,and 42 types in the Wen Xuan Jizhu manuscripts.There are 6 types of common characters shared between the two manuscripts.It is inferred that the two manuscripts were produced in roughly the same age,which should be in the Tang Dynasty.The fourth chapter makes a comprehensive collection of the data quoted in the Selected Notes according to the different sources.These Zheng injection materials mainly include 17 sources,Annotation of Rites(398),Annotation of Zhou Li(292),Annotation of etiquette(62),Mao Shijian(338),Annotation of the Analects of Confucius(33),Annotations of Zhouyi(25),Annotations on the Classic of Filial Piety(8),Annotations of Shang Shu(21),Annotations of Shang Shu Da Zhuan(17),Annotations of Shang Shu Wuxing(4),Annotations of Shang Shu Zhong Hou(2),Annotations of Shang Shu Wei(7),Jie Zi Shu(2),Annotations of Yi Wei(4),Annotations of Chun Qiu Wei(1),Shi Pu(1),and Zheng Xuan notes of unknown sources(31).This chapter also investigates the sources of Zheng Xuan notes materials whose sources are unknown,and finds out the sources of 16 materials,among which 15 materials are still unknown to be examined.
