Prevention and control measures such as home quarantine and online learning during the normalization epidemic have brought heavy psychological burden to high school students who are under academic stress.Their anxiety and depression symptoms are gradually attracting people’s attention. However,Previous studies have mostly ignored the impact of physical symptoms on mental health of high school students while aggressive behavior and somatization symptoms are closely related to the mental health of high school students. In addition,in the past, the variable-centered method was used to explore the relationship between the two, which could not distinguish the heterogeneity of the population. In this study, the people-centered potential category analysis method was used to distinguish different potential categories of anxiety and depression, and the multiple logistic analysis was used to explore the predictive effect of aggressive behavior and physical symptoms on the potential categories of anxiety and depression. In this study, the students of three grades in a high school in Shandong Province were selected as the research object, and the potential profile analysis was used as the research method.A total of 2602 valid questionnaires were collected using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale(GAD-7),the Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ-9),the Reactive-Proactive Aggression Questionnaire and the Physical Symptom Scale as the research tools. The results showed that(1)the anxiety and depression of high school students could be divided into three subgroups: low anxiety and depression group, medium anxiety and depression group, and high anxiety and depression group;(2)Women are more likely to become the moderate anxiety and depression group than men,but there is no significant difference between men and women in the possibility of becoming the high anxiety and depression group;(3)Aggressive behavior can significantly predict the potential pattern of anxiety and depression of high school students. With the increase of scores of active aggressive behavior and reactive aggressive behavior, the probability of becoming a moderate anxiety and depression group and a high anxiety and depression group increased;(4)Somatization symptoms can significantly predict the potential pattern of anxiety and depression in high school students. With the increase of the severity of somatization symptoms, the possibility of becoming a moderate anxiety and depression group and a high anxiety and depression group increased.Conclusion:(1)The anxiety and depression of high school students are heterogeneous and can be divided into three subgroups: low anxiety and depression, moderate anxiety and depression, and high anxiety and depression;(2)The heterogeneity of this subgroup is affected by gender,reactive/active aggression and somatization symptoms. In this study, high school students were divided into different groups with anxiety and depression as indicators.According to the characteristics of different groups, early identification and timely targeted psychological intervention were carried out to provide reference for schools and families to pay attention to students’ mental health during the normalization of the epidemic. At the same time,we also consider the impact of high school students’ aggressive behavior and somatization symptoms on anxiety and depression symptoms,as well as the differences in anxiety and depression between students of different sexes,to help high school students meet the college entrance examination in a good physical and mental state.
