The study of morphemes is of great significance to the teaching and learning of Chinese.This paper takes "morphemes with multiple part-of-speech tagging monosyllabic compound-word" as the research object,studies its word formation and usage from the perspective of international Chinese language education.The concept of "morphemes with multiple part-of-speech tagging monosyllabic compound-word" comes from Chinese Proficiency Grading Stand ards for International Chinese Language Education of "vocabulary".This thesis tries to analyze its distribution and internal characteristics,study the morpheme meanings and word formation of this kind of morpheme and explore the learner’s acquisition errors of this kind of morpheme.Then this thesis will put forward some corresponding suggestions.Hope this thesis will can provide some help to the relevant research and teaching of international Chinese language education.According to the vocabulary of Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education,the representation of "morphemes with multiple part-of-speech tagging monosyllabic compound-word" is very obvious which is marked after by parentheses.They are words as well as compound-word morphemes.This paper is based on the latter.This research is carried out from ontology to error and then to teaching,in which the analysis of the meaning and word-formation of this kind of morpheme and the analysis of learners’ error are the focus of this research.The author first extracts relevant formation from morphemes and analyzes the morphemes of homonyms and forms based on the "modern Chinese dictionary"(seventh edition),then finds that there are important relationship between meanings.Then sort out the formation based on part of speech,finding that this kind of morpheme is very abundant,which comes to the conclusion that a single word formation decreases from elementary to advanced,while word formation increases gradually from elementary to advanced,and whole words appear first mainly in the primary stage.Next,the study turns to the errors of non-native Chinese speakers,and searches and analyzes each morpheme from the HSK dynamic composition corpus one by one.It finds that learners had errors in word formation,usage of a single word formation and usage of word formation in the output of these morphemes.It can be analyzed that these errors result from the characteristics of such morphemes,the basis of Chinese morphemes,students’ learning strategies,negative transfer of mother tongue and the lack of attention in teaching materials and teaching,etc.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions on summary list of new words and exercise design for teaching materials and teachers’ teaching to promote learners’ vocabulary acquisition based on the above research.
