A Study On The Emotional Experience Of Contemporary Sculpture And Installation

Contemporary art is undergoing a stage of multicultural integration and development.Traditional sculpture creation forms follow consistent paradigms and standards,and to some extent cannot carry the spiritual sustention and emotional intention expressed by artists in terms of material language,creative concepts,practical means and artistic forms.The single form and style of its creation can not fully meet the aesthetic appeal of contemporary youth.The combination of contemporary sculpture and installation enriches and expands the aesthetic paradigm and creation form of traditional sculpture,injecting new vitality into the development of traditional sculpture.The combination of the two forms of art is also more suitable for the aesthetic needs of contemporary young people,and it is easier for artists to express their emotions and arouse the audience to have a richer emotional experience.The original intention of this study is to take personal life experience as the material and contemporary sculpture and installation art form as the creation method.By integrating personal spiritual sustention and perception into the work "May Sleep Peacefully",it aims to explore how the art form combining contemporary sculpture and installation can arouse rich emotional experience of the audience.Therefore,this thesis will be divided into four chapters to discuss.The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,the literature review method is used to sort out the relevant researches on sculpture,installation and emotional experience in detail.Secondly,after accumulating a certain amount of knowledge,the second chapter summarizes the integration of contemporary sculpture and installation,and discusses the causes of emotional experience from the perspective of gestalt psychology.Based on this,combined with the appreciation of contemporary sculpture and installation of art works,analysis of contemporary sculpture and installation of emotional experience construction approach;In the third chapter,case analysis is used to analyze how the combination of contemporary sculpture and installation causes the emotional experience of viewers from the four elements of image,shape,material and color.The fourth chapter is the practice and exploration of emotional experience in contemporary sculpture and installation.On the basis of clarifying creative inspiration and emotional theme,personal experience and spiritual sustentation are integrated into it,and the work "Sleep On Peace" is created in the artistic form of contemporary sculpture and installation,in order to arouse the emotional experience and spiritual resonance of the audience.
