Research On The Relationship Between Love And Value In Scheler’s Emotional Phenomenology

When Scheler finished criticizing and inheriting Kant and Husserl,he also formed a series of philosophical elements of his own.In the sorting of these elements,we found his ideological context,the gradual process from material apriorism,emotional apriorism to value apriorism.Among them,the intuitive inheritance and Transcendence of Husserl’s “eidetic intuition” has laid the tone of material apriorism for his system,the criticism of Kant’s rationalist tradition has made him enter the domain of emotional apriorism,and the excavation of intentional components in emotion has completed the transition from emotional apriorism to value apriorism.However,value apriorism is still not the end point.Scheler’s construction of the whole system should eventually return to his interpretation of the concept of "love".He expounded his understanding of "love" from the perspectives of criticism and inheritance.In the face of ancient Greece and India,he criticized the view that love ranked behind rationality and regarded love as an act of egoism.He inherited the Christian spirit dominated by Augustine and believed that pure altruism was the essence of love.Altruistic love aims at the loved object,while value seeks its own purpose.Thus,Scheler finally completed the establishment from value apriorism to love apriorism.Love is not a static emotion in time.New values are constantly revealed by it.The process of constantly making value appear is the process of love movement.The value revealed by Scheler because of love is objective.Embodied in a single value,this objective is an objective that is intuitionistic by phenomenology as an essence;Reflected in multiple values,we find that the value presents a certain order.Scheler believes that the order of this value is also objective,and its visibility is revealed by preference behavior.Although the value revealed by love is objective,the real world shows the tendency of value diversity.This means that we have to return to specific people to see value.Scheler calls the value order of specific personality "ordo amoris",which is divided into normative ordo amoris and describing ordo amoris.The former can only be owned by God,while the latter is different in specific individuals through specific time and space.People may agree or deviate from God’s order.As long as there is deviation,there must be hatred.Resentment is a special manifestation of resentment,which makes people lose value.
