| Sergei Prokofiev is one of the most outstanding composers and pianists in the 20th century.The piano sonatas are very important parts of his music creation.The nine piano sonatas run through the three periods of Prokofiev’s creation,reflecting his music creation style in different periods.The three war sonatas in the later period were influenced by the war at that time.The works are magnificent,grand in conception,profound in content,and full of the atmosphere of war,which also marks the establishment and maturity of Prokofiev’s creative style.Piano Sonata No.8 is the last of the "war sonata".It has touching lyricism and profound thinking.The work vividly depicts the cruelty of war and the determination to win,reflecting the will of the Soviet people to win,and has profound musical connotations.Piano Sonata No.8 shows Prokofiev’s creative techniques in his mature period,and his personalized style.This paper takes Piano Sonata No.8 as the research object to analyze its music style and performance techniques.The main body of the thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces Prokofiev’s life and the background of Piano Sonata No.8.The second chapter mainly analyzes the text of this work,and fully grasps the creative characteristics of the work from the aspects of musical structure,tonality,melody,rhythm and harmony.The third chapter studies the image of war music presented in the music.The fourth chapter analyzes the performance of the music based on the musical image expressed in the music and combined with my learning and performance experience.It is hoped that the writing of this article can provide a certain reference value for the teaching and performance of Prokofiev’s piano sonatas. |
