| Surrealism,proposed by the French poet Guillaume Apollinaire in his evaluation of stage plays,was active during World War I and World War II,and had a profound influence on the development of painting after the 20 th century.Eduardo Naranjo,as one of the famous surrealist painters after Joan Miró and Dali,also made an important contribution to the development of art in Spain;In addition,although Eduardo Naranjo was a surrealist painter,his painting style and subject matter were different from those of other traditional surrealist artists.While inheriting the traditional techniques of the academy,his painting style is also influenced by figurative painting,and plays an important role in the return of figurative painting;In terms of creative themes,he not only depicts the subconscious and imagination,but also starts from self-emotion,depicts people and objects in different era backgrounds,and uses the method of image narrative to replace and overlap typical people and objects or other elements in the same picture,so as to create the overlapping of situations in different artistic contexts and extend the meaning of painting.This method of construction is more or less reflected in contemporary painting,most typical of the paintings of Eduardo Naranjo.Taking Eduardo Naranjo as the epitome,this paper studies its unique construction method from the perspective of context in image narrative,and studies the characteristics and construction methods of overlapping context,so as to supplement the special research on artistic context.This article is divided into four main parts.The first part is to expand the concept and definition of context overlap,one is to explain the context in painting,and the other is to explain the overlap of context and the situation of overlap.The second part explores the basic construction methods of context overlap? Using surrealist paintings as the starting point,it uses the construction of time,space and mirror images.In addition,starting from the influence of "new embodiment",we will find the basic construction opportunities of context overlap and extend it,so as to study the composition method of context overlap.The third part conducts in-depth research from the contextual characteristics of Naranjo’s paintings,unfolds from the different characteristics of contextual expression and different angles of visual expression,and explores the uniqueness of contextual overlap based on the vertical and horizontal angles of Naranjo’s images.The fourth part is to start from the practical meaning of overlapping contexts,and deeply think and understand the meaning of overlapping contexts from the two aspects of subject matter and self-painting concept transformation.In this process,we should not only pay attention to the intentional extraction of picture elements,but also pay attention to the composition of new contextual meanings,which is different from the direct expression of other figurations and images,and output in a metaphorical way of expression,so as to constitute the expression of the complexity of painting intentions. |
