As a realistic subject, the connotation and expression of urban and rural writing have distinct characteristics of The Times and writers. The mass migration of peasants to cities in the early 21 st century makes the urban and rural writing at the turn of the century return to the public view. This paper takes Jing Yongming’s urban and rural texts as the research object. The first chapter, starting from the relationship between writer’s identity and creation intention, analyzes the uniqueness of Jing Yongming’s identity and explores the influence of his professional writer’s identity, intellectual attribute, urban working experience and urban identity on his urban and rural creation. The writer’s own identity, experience and the creation concept of "Pingzhuang writers group" constitute the driving force for the writer’s text to return to reality and go deep into life.No matter in rural or urban areas, the writer’s vision always pays attention to the people at the bottom of urban and rural areas, and integrates the common humanistic care for the people at the bottom in the collision of urban and rural differences. The second chapter and the third chapter start from the two spatial fields of urban and rural respectively to analyze Jing Yongming’s identity and experience under the influence of different expressions of the city and rural.Jing Yongming’s recognition of urban identity and appreciation of Beijing city life made his urban writing no longer continue the desire narrative of the new sense school and the suffering of the bottom writing, but focus on exploring the cultural connotation and spiritual characteristics of the city. The urban space in his works is characterized by compatibility, and its inclusiveness makes both city and country people participate in the narrative as protagonists at the same time, forming a dialogue mode of urban-rural interaction. At the hometown level, the rural life experience in childhood enables the writer to present a narrative posture of looking back to the "past" time period in the current time line.In the nostalgic writing of the warm hometown in childhood, which carries the beauty of human nature and ecological beauty,he turns his perspective to the real countryside as a "city person" and unconsciously compares it with the countryside in his childhood.Reflecting on the value anomie and the decline of "rites" in the real country,it also causes the writer to think about the present situation of the countryside in the tide of modernization. The fourth chapter analyzes the uniqueness of Jing Yongming’s urban and rural narrative from the perspective of literary creation.Jing Yongming,as a writer of urban nationality of rural origin, combines both urban and rural temperament in terms of identity characteristics.Under the light of rationality,he constructs a narrative mode in which urban and rural civilizations mirror each other in writing about the fluidity and mutual connectivity between cities and villages.Jing Yongming’s creative identity and the identity of the writing object are consistent in his urban and rural writings.Based on this, the author tells the stories of the farmers in the cities under his pen as an urban migrant worker.Based on this, the narrative perspective is mainly in the first person, and "I" can not only be the protagonist of the story, but also sometimes retreat from the protagonist status to the role of a bystander, telling the stories of others.Jing Yongming’s downward shift in narrative perspective and the popular narrative stance make him shift from macro narration to daily life narration. He combines The Times, society and ordinary People’s Daily life, and uses the surface daily life to spread the mental state of urban and rural people in the process of urbanization and modernization, showing the new quality of urban, rural and urban-rural relations under the new era background.
