Chorus,as a form of "multi person collaboration" music expression,is an important component of school aesthetic education work.Famous educator Kodayi believes that "the beauty of harmony created by choral singing can create a sense of collectivity and friendship,and bring moments of spiritual sublimation to life." Choral singing can not only enhance the cohesion of a country and a nation,but also comprehensively reflect the musical literacy of a country’s citizens.Nowadays,choir teaching has become one of the music curriculum practice projects with a wide range of activities,good popularization,and strong effectiveness.In recent years,Guangdong Province,as a "major choral province" in China,has maintained a good momentum in the development of the choral industry.Shenzhen City,as a "strong choral city",has won awards both domestically and internationally for its school choir,which has become the "Lily Choir" of Shenzhen Senior High School;Shenzhen Middle School "Golden Bell Youth Choir";Excellent school choir groups such as Shenzhen Hongling Middle School’s "Golden Voice Choir".Among them,Shenzhen Foreign Language School(hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen Foreign Language School)"Xinhang Choir" is a "young" high school mixed voice choir established in September 2017.In just five years,the choir has rapidly developed and entered the forefront of primary and secondary school choirs in Shenzhen.The author conducted a case study on the rehearsal and management mode of the "Xinhang Choir" at Shenzhen Foreign Language University;And provide effective suggestions for the rehearsal and management of high school choirs in China.This study is mainly divided into the following three parts:Part 1: Through literature review and data integration.Exploring the development of the "Xinhang Chorus" from its establishment;Understand the background of creation,organizational structure,training objectives,development status,etc;Provide a basic overview of the team.Part 2: Using case study methods(interview method,observation method,questionnaire survey method,and physical research method),the "Xinhang Choir" from Shenzhen Foreign Language University is used as a case study for in-depth research.The author entered the school to observe and participate in daily rehearsals.The audio and video files lasted for 300 minutes,and multiple in-depth interviews were conducted with the guidance teachers and two former leaders.A questionnaire survey was conducted among the current members of the choir.Gain a multidimensional understanding of the management rehearsal of the choir from different perspectives,collect information,research data,and analyze its characteristics.Part 3: Based on the case study,it was found that the association has many valuable aspects to learn from.In rehearsal selection,based on scientific and effective sound training,a unique "team brand" should be created according to the characteristics of team members.In terms of management,make full use of student autonomy management,combine strict management regulations with the concept of "people-oriented",and organize different activities to give team members a sense of belonging.In addition,the support and cooperation between schools and parents,as well as the perspective of command,determine the development of a team.Teachers should continuously improve themselves by combining input and output,and establish the goal of lifelong learning.To achieve mutual promotion between school choir and class choir,and provide personnel support for the school choir.Conversely,the school choir can promote the development of class choir and create a good campus choir atmosphere.I hope to provide theoretical and practical references for the rehearsal and management of high school choirs in China through this study.
