Study Of Jin Nong’s Clerical Script

Jin Nong,a native of Hangzhou,Zhejiang Province,was one of the representative figures of the "Eight Monsters of Yangzhou" and excelled in poetry,calligraphy,painting and printing.Jin Nong’s original lacquer calligraphy and the concept of master monument have established his position in the history of Qing Dynasty calligraphy.The article focuses on Jin Nong’s Official Script and is divided into four chapters.The first chapter,the analysis of Jin Nong’s Official Script style,focuses on three aspects: the statistics of Jin Nong’s Official Script surviving works,the origin of Jin Nong’s Official Script and the originality of Jin Nong’s Official Script.In the second chapter,the causes of the style of Jinnong’s Official Script are explored from four aspects: social influence,influence of teachers and friends,and influence of himself and Zen Buddhism.Chapter 3,focuses on Jin Nong’s calligraphic thought in terms of his penchant for antiquity,his transfer of benefits to many teachers,and his originality in clerical script.The fourth chapter,discussing the influence of Jinon’s Official Script in the present,the author writes from the rendition of Jinon’s Official Script and the author’s thinking in copying Jinon’s Official Script and the revelation and performance of Jinon’s Official Script in the author’s calligraphy creation in the current exhibition hall era.In the early Qing dynasty,the era of the popularity of the post script,Jin Nong dared to break through the barriers,actively practicing their own ideas of respect for monuments,and physically practicing the advent of the era of monuments in the late Qing dynasty to open the precedent.His calligraphy not only influenced a large number of his contemporaries,but also many later scholars,and even a large number of followers in today’s calligraphy world.This paper seeks to restore the face of Jin Nong’s Official Script in a clearer way,and to provide some reference for calligraphers who take Jin Nong’s style.Finally,through the influence of Jinnong’s Official Script,that is,the achievements of Jinnong’s later scholars,it provides a new way of thinking and a new way of learning Jinnong’s Official Script.
