Abstract/Summary:
The participatory teaching method is different from the traditional "cramming" teaching method,which advocates student-centered learning.By cultivating students’ self-learning ability,independent thinking ability,and cooperative awareness,it achieves a transformation from passive acceptance to active exploration of learning methods.Music appreciation course is a fundamental professional course for students majoring in music performance in vocational schools.It is an important way to implement quality education during the vocational education stage and plays an irreplaceable role in improving students’ music literacy and aesthetic ability.Nevertheless,I have found through relevant literature and surveys that the theoretical research and practical experience of participatory teaching method in music appreciation classrooms in vocational schools are still very scarce.Therefore,this article combines the relevant achievements of the "Music Participatory Teaching Method" theory and is based on the practical activities of the participatory teaching method in music appreciation classes in vocational schools.Two secondary vocational schools are investigated to understand the current application status,existing problems,and reasons of the participatory teaching method in music appreciation classes in vocational schools,and then explore optimization strategies for effectively applying the participatory teaching method.This article consists of the following parts in terms of content construction: Introduction discusses the background,significance,research status,research ideas,and research methods of the topic;The second part provides an overview of the relevant connotations of participatory teaching method in music appreciation classes in vocational schools,including connotation definition,theoretical basis,practical characteristics,and practical significance;The third part,based on the previous questionnaire survey and interview results of teachers and students from two vocational schools in Guangzhou,analyzes the current situation and reasons for the application of participatory teaching method in music appreciation classes in vocational schools;The fourth part proposes optimization and practical strategies for the participatory teaching method in music appreciation classes in vocational schools in response to existing problems;The final part is to design a case study on the application of participatory teaching method in music appreciation classes in vocational schools.The entire research process adheres to the training goal of vocational music performance students,and proves through case design that participatory teaching method is applicable to music appreciation teaching,which is effective in improving students’ music aesthetics and promoting professional skill development.
