"Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan" is a famous painting manual written during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty.It systematically introduces the basic techniques of Chinese painting,is an indispensable textbook for learning Chinese painting,and is evaluated as the peak of Chinese painting.Since its publication,"Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan" has not only been highly respected in China,but has been translated many times,which has had an important impact on the development of traditional Chinese painting,and even spread to Japan.At this time,Japan was in the Edo era,with the rapid development of the Machino economy,frequent Sino Japanese Nagasaki merchant shipping trade,and the emergence of printing and publishing industries,all of which promoted the development and prosperity of the cultural field,creating conditions for the dissemination and acceptance of "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan".The Biography of Mustard Garden has been widely spread in Japan,affecting the artistic and literary creation of many Edo literati painters,penetrating into many fields,and causing strong repercussions in the Edo era.Therefore,the research and analysis of the spread and acceptance of "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan" outside the country also reflects the necessity.This paper aims to comb the development of "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan" in the Edo era,and grasp the track of its spread and acceptance.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the current research background and relevant research at home and abroad,as well as the significance of the topic.The second part describes the process and content of the book,so as to better understand the main body of this communication.The third part is based on the Edo era,discussing the dissemination status of "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan" in Japan,explaining the dissemination background of "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan",as well as the versions and methods of dissemination in Japan at that time.The fourth part is a detailed analysis of Japan’s acceptance of the "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan" in the Edo era,the audience and its characteristics,as well as the evaluation of the Japanese,and finally analyzes its acceptance in Edo Japan from the connection between the Japanese Southern Painting,the Shono School,Haiku Painting and Ukiyoe Painting and the "Chieh Tzu Yuan Hua Chuan".The fifth part is the conclusion and outlook of this article. |
