Research On Farmer Images In Traditional Chinese Painting In 1980s

China is a country who "based on agriculture",and the basic level of society is composed of farmers,whose living condition has been a key factor for social stability in China since ancient times.Over the past century,with the changes in China’s social structure,more and more farmers have been seen in fine art works.The images of farmers in Chinese paintings of different periods run through the historical process of revolution,reform and development.Influenced by social environment,cultural environment and artistic environment,these images present the observation and thinking of the art circle on society,record the changes of Chinese society,show distinct historical characteristics,contain profound humanistic consciousness and rich sociological connotation,and accompany the innovation of artistic aesthetics.After the 1980 s,painters were tired of the bravado heroism and idealism before the 1980 s.The creation of peasant images in traditional Chinese paintings was just like the rain on the earth,all things were growing,and flowers were blooming on this fertile land of art,which could be gloomy and vicissitudes of life,rude and poor,or pure and romantic.But what they have in common is that they contain the artist’s sincere emotional experience and unique life experience.There are emotions,sensitivities and responses in the pictures.In the creation,the simple and stereotyped paradigm before the 1980 s has been broken,and the traditional Chinese painting has found its vitality again in the colorful art form language.When we recall the exploration road in the 1980 s,it was young,hot,humanistic and romantic.The peasant image in the Chinese painting works of that period showed unique artistic charm and unique research value.This paper selects the decade from 1980 to 1990 as the research domain,during which the representative traditional Chinese painting works as the research object,the content and theme of the farmer image are classified and discussed,and the characteristics and reasons of the artistic expression of the farmer image in the traditional Chinese painting works are discussed.In the 1980 s,the farmer image in the traditional Chinese painting works presents a personalized and diversified artistic outlook.It reflects the living conditions and status of farmers under the political system and economic reform of that era.At the same time,it reflects the keen observation of The Times,sincere emotional response and unique aesthetic understanding of the art circle.The research idea of this paper is to sort out the development process of farmer image in Chinese painting works since 1949,and then place the building of farmer image in Chinese painting works in the specific historical context of the decade from 1980 to1990 for analysis and research,which is the research focus and difficulty of this paper.Finally,it summarizes the significance and enlightenment of the farmer image in the Chinese painting works in the 1980 s,and expounds it from four aspects: artistic value,historical value,contemporary value,and construction of the image of Chinese contemporary new farmers.This paper attempts to discuss from the background of The Times,the trend of art,art style and other aspects,from that hot,romantic,growing age to find some rules,principles and rationality,in order to provide some inspiration for the art creation and expression of the image of farmers in contemporary art.
