Research On The Cultural Connotation And Aesthetic Character Of Opera Documentaries

This paper focuses on the cultural connotation and aesthetic character of opera documentaries,taking the graduation work "Chu Opera Guardian" as the main object of analysis.The analysis of the cultural connotation of the opera documentary is conducive to understanding the current survival of opera art and better protecting the heritage of opera art;the analysis of the aesthetic character of the opera documentary is conducive to combining the aesthetic characteristics of opera itself and the documentary to better create an opera documentary that meets the aesthetic expectations of the current audience.In terms of cultural connotation,this paper argues that the cultural connotation of the opera documentary shows regionalism,tradition and modernity.The expression of locality is closely related to the dialect expression of local operas;the expression of tradition lies in the ethnicity and history of traditional Chinese culture;the expression of modernity lies in the modernity of subject matter selection,dissemination means and creation concept.In terms of aesthetics,this paper focuses on the thematic beauty,aural beauty and contextual beauty of opera documentaries.The paper argues that in opera documentaries,the expression of celebrating Chinese traditional culture and conveying the spirit of craftsmen’s perseverance has the function of transmitting values,while the emotional narration and literary explanation construct the aural beauty of form.Finally,based on the creation of the graduation work "Chu Opera Guardian",this paper summarizes the creative experience and reflections of opera documentaries,puts forward the creative problems of preservation of cultural traditions and limitations of modern expressions,and extension of communication and deviation of opera identity,and tries to give strategies for cultural integration of opera documentary development based on these two problems.
