An Experimental Study On The Tone Of Baoshan Dialect

In the process of hearing and recording sounds,traditional tone discrimination is easily affected by subjective and objective conditions,so there are differences and disagreements in the research conclusions.By means of instrumental analysis and scientific calculation,the tonal experiment can eliminate subjective factors to the maximum extent and present the tonal pattern of dialects objectively.According to the literature,the tone of Baoshan dialect is distinctive and different from that of surrounding dialects.Based on the fact that there are differences in the description of dialect tones in traditional listening comprehension,we think it is necessary to study the tone system of Baoshan dialect by experimental method.In this paper,considering the historical evolution of Baoshan,administrative division,population distribution and urbanization development process and other factors,to the Longyang District of Baoshan City dialect tone as the research object,selected 12 different gender,different ages of the residents as the object of the tone experiment,from the point of view of synchronic description,based on the static monosyllabic tone pattern description,It is further extended to the study of dynamic two-word phonetic variation,presenting the tone system of Baoshan dialect in a relatively comprehensive and detailed way by combining static and static.Finally,from two aspects of internal composition of tone pattern and mode combination and collocation,it analyzes the tone variation by centering on tone area adjustment and arch adjustment,and strives to present the tone pattern of Baoshan dialect objectively and accurately.Try to perfect the tone study of Baoshan dialect.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The text consists of four chapters,among which the second and third chapters are the focus of this paper.The introduction part introduces the general situation of Baoshan,sorts out the relevant research,and explains the reason of the topic selection,the research significance,the research object,the research content,the theoretical support and the specific operation.Chapter one introduces dialect phonology and experimental design.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 fully combine the methods of field investigation and tone experiment.Based on the speech samples of 12 speakers,the praat speech analysis software and script are used to accurately extract the base frequency data and draw the base frequency graph to analyze the pitch trend and differentiation of different speakers.On this basis,the T-value method is used to normalize the basic frequency data,and the tonal pattern of single and double tone is structured by combining the theory of "tonal acoustic space","boundary" and "skew difference".Finally,the tonal pattern is presented by calculating the mean value.Baoshan dialect is a typical four-tone dialect.By the method of tone experiment,the tonal pattern of one-word tone is structured into: Yin Ping 51,Yang Ping 31,upper tone 451 and de-tone 324.Baoshan double-word phonetic sandhi is a typical foreword sandhi,and there are 10 kinds of sandhi combinations.The fourth chapter,on the basis of accurately describing the tone pattern of dialect,tries to analyze the phenomenon of continuous tone variation of double word groups in Baoshan dialect from two aspects: "tone zone adjustment" and "arch adjustment",and tries to present the tone characteristics of Baoshan dialect from the level of explanation.Baoshan dialect belongs to the typical coordinated tone mode.On the one hand,the adjustment of vocal area achieves the purpose of saving pronunciation effort by limiting the low-key and approaching the middle tone;on the other hand,it also achieves the purpose of clearly distinguishing meaning by highlighting the difference between high and low intervals and the different ways of curved arch.The two interleave each other and coordinate symbiosis.The conclusion summarizes the research conclusions of each chapter and looks forward to the future research direction.The study of this paper provides a large amount of acoustic data support for the description of dialect tone,which is conducive to objectively presenting the tone pattern of Baoshan dialect and revealing the basic features of dialect tone.It is a beneficial supplement to the study of traditional dialect tone,and has a positive effect on the development of revealing the phonetic characteristics of dialect.All the speech samples and acoustic data of this tone experiment will be retained,which is the factual basis to prove the phonetic characteristics of Baoshan dialect.It is of great significance for the protection and inheritance of Baoshan dialect,which is in line with the purpose and policy of Chinese language resources protection project.
