Ursula.K.Le.Guin is one of the most outstanding American fantasy writers in the20 th century.Different from ordinary fantasy novels, her works have been widely concerned by critics because of their high literary value.Among them, her feminist stance and deep concern for women have been the focus of critics. Her representative series of Earthsea Legends is one of the most outstanding works in contemporary fantasy novels, and the feminist elements involved in them have been widely evaluated. However, although there are many unique narrative techniques in Legend of Earthsea Cycle, there are few systematic analyses, let alone studies from the perspective of Feminist Narrative, which combines feminist criticism with classical narrative. Therefore, this paper attempts to analyze the text of the novel on the basis of feminist narrate theory, focusing on how the author subverts male authority, builds her own feminist narrative authority, and how the author shows her feminist consciousness through unique narrative techniques. This paper is divided into three parts. The introduction part briefly introduces the reason for the topic, the introduction of Le.Guin ’s life and works, the research status and research methods at home and abroad, and explains the related concepts of Feminist Narrative. The first chapter is "narrative voice".The narrative voice of the work mainly has two forms: the voice of the narrator and the voice of the character. Therefore, this chapter mainly analyzes how the author uses these two voices to subvert the patriarchal discourse and express the feminist consciousness. The second chapter is "narrative perspective".In feminist narratology, the choice of narrative perspective is often associated with the author’s ideology and stance. This chapter mainly analyzes the situation of the female other from the male perspective and the construction of the female subject from the female perspective in Legend of Earthsea Cycle. The third chapter "narrative discourse Mode",this chapter analyzes how Le Guin deconstructs male discourse authority through different narrative speech modes,so as to establish her feminist narrative authority.his chapter mainly discusses how the author uses direct and indirect speech to express the awakening of female self-consciousness and the deconstruction of male authority,so as to express the concept of promoting the harmonious development of both sexes.
