| With the increasing trend of Chinese language learners becoming younger and the research on national textbooks attracting the attention of scholars,more and more children in Japan are learning Chinese through specialized Chinese language textbooks for children.At the same time,practice is an important guarantee for whether the teaching materials can enable learners to achieve the learning goals,and whether the practice arrangement is reasonable is an important factor affecting the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and it is also an important indicator for evaluating the teaching materials.Based on the second language characteristics of children’s learning and relevant theories of practice design,this paper selects the primary Chinese textbook “The Super Chinese” written for Japanese elementary school students,and attempts to analyze the design status of the textbook,and summarize its advantages and deficiencies,in order to make some suggestions and ideas for the practice design and compilation of Japanese children’s Chinese textbooks.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter describes an introduction.It includes the reasons for selecting the topics,research methods,related theories,analysis of the research status and the basic existing information of textbooks.It introduces the basic layout of the textbook,and provides a comprehensive reorganization of the 1-6 textbooks in terms of the number of exercise and types,so as to lay the foundation for the analysis of the exercises in Chapter 2.The second chapter is the main part of this paper.Based on the first chapter,a comprehensive analysis of the specific content of the exercises designed for books1-6 is conducted.The five aspects of phonetics,Chinese characters,words,sentences,and grammar are examined comprehensively in terms of the number of questions,the type of questions,the content,and the degree of matching with the textbook,and on this basis,the characteristics and shortcomings of the exercise design of the textbook are summarized.Chapter 3 shows the shortcomings of the exercises designs and the strategies for using them.This chapter summarizes the features and shortcomings of the exercise design of the textbook analyzed in Chapter 2,and proposes strategies for using the textbook in terms of the number of exercise,types,and content,with a view to giving teachers some rough suggestions.Chapter 4 is the concluding part of the paper.Through data analysis,text analysis,and a small number of comparative studies,we found that the design of the exercises in “The Super Chinese” has taken into account learners’ cognitive development and changes in language level,the content of the exercises follows the text,and the order of the exercises is scientific;the exercises are rich in types and focus on practical application,which are in line with the principles of diversity,fun and communicative design of the textbook.The design of the exercises is countryconscious,taking into account the learners’ native language background,which is reflected to different degrees in the exercises of each language element. |
