The local Zhaojun opera from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China is not only an important part of Zhaojun’s cultural heritage,but also an important carrier to reflect the development and change of local opera,with rich connotations of its literary,musical and stage art.As far as local operas are concerned,a systematic study of Zhaojun’s plays from the perspective of multiple operas can give us an in-depth understanding of the origin,development and evolution of Zhaojun’s artistic image,its theme and plot evolution characteristics.This paper takes the local Zhaojun opera from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China as the research object,and on the basis of collecting more than 20 plays and a large number of stage art materials,discusses the general situation of local Zhaojun opera repertoies,reasons for its prosperity,literary acceptance,character image evolution,stage art and other aspects.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is divided into two periods,the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,to briefly describe the existence,origin,and main content of local Zhaojun dramas;And based on the various types of opera materials collected by the author,explore the story and vocal source of local Zhaojun opera;Finally,a brief discussion is given on the reasons for the prosperity of local Zhaojun opera between the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China from three aspects: plot transplantation,folk activities,and patriotism.The second chapter explores the literary acceptance of local Zhaojun opera from two aspects: the theme and plot evolution,based on the literary scripts of literati Zhaojun opera,literati Zhaojun novels,and first-hand literature scripts of local Zhaojun opera from the Yuan,Ming,and Qing dynasties.The third chapter discusses the profound connotation and artistic value contained in the image of the local Zhaojun,the image of loyal ministers,and the image of kings in the local Zhaojun drama.The fifth chapter takes representative local operas as the main clue and focuses on analyzing the achievements made in the artistic innovation of local Zhaojun operas.
