Research On The Practical Application Of Field Work In The Documentary Film “My Mother”

In the seventh census in our country,according to the statistics,the aging population of 260 million in our country,pension problem is very severe,and the people just over 60 years old pension pressure is more difficult,people of this age level often have old and younger,especially in vast rural areas,60 or 70 years old and land labor.The author’s mother is one of them,which has become the author’s original intention to shoot documentaries about the elderly.Fieldwork,as a research method born in anthropology,has made some progress in various research fields.Through the author’s research and investigation,fieldwork has been widely used in the documentary creation process,especially the method of participant observation and interview.Therefore,in the whole creation of the documentary,the author carried out practice guided by the application and research of the field investigation method,combined with the characteristics of the documentary on the elderly,and summarized his own research results.The whole article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the research status and development of documentaries on the elderly.The second part mainly discusses the origin of the concept of fieldwork and its application in the documentary.The third part,the core chapter of this paper,mainly discusses the specific application of field survey method in the author’s entire documentary creation,including the preliminary topic planning,camera shooting and later editing.In the aspect of lens production,the author creatively combines the method of participation and observation in the field investigation method with the narrative perspective of the documentary,and summarizes the relationship between the narrative perspective of the documentary and the field investigation.In the post editing,the deep tracing theory is introduced,which further provides the basis for the connection of the shot.The fourth part mainly discusses the documentary creation and field investigation after the combination of four points of thinking.The fifth part is the conclusion,which sums up the experience and deficiency of this creation...
