| Through the practice and research of the IP image design of the Chinese zodiac,the folk heritage,artistic aesthetics,and the cognition of The Times contained in the traditional Chinese zodiac culture will glow with new vitality.To explore and shape the contemporary cultural symbols bearing the natural objective and the subjective human emotion,one of the two sides,and construct the design process in the practice process,to open up the path for the inheritance and development of excellent folk culture.Through literature research and data collection,the historical origins,forms of expression in different periods,connotations,and design methods of the twelve zodiac animals were sorted out.The visual presentation of the zodiac image was analyzed,and the feature extraction method was applied to refine and transform it into visual language.Using the questionnaire,quantitative data is assisted to improve the accuracy and objectivity of insight description,to conduct demand positioning.Integrating contemporary IP image design principles into design practice,the visual cognitive path of zodiac image formation is constructed,and the zodiac image presents natural in-situ characteristics,auspicious connotations,emotional injection of The Times,cultural image presentation construction and personalized image design trends in different visual manifestations.Three IP image design principles of contemporary emotional identity,value giving,decentralization,and extension were established,and a new series of 12 zodiac IP was designed and practiced to retain the animal image of the Chinese zodiac.From the perspective of modeling,innovative expression is integrated into the character,relevant cultural creative products are extended,and feasible promotion strategies are proposed.Choosing new methods in the new era,the contemporary development and inheritance of zodiac culture can not only rely on interpersonal communication;In combination with reality,the real manifestation of the zodiac culture,visual attraction,and aesthetic concern can make more users love to pay attention to the zodiac culture in the flood of entertainment news,hot stories,and other information,in-depth understanding of the zodiac culture and even participate in the innovation of the zodiac culture.The IP image design of the Chinese zodiac is a kind of application,as well as a design form of objective analysis and is subjectively endowed.It is hoped that the design behavior can empower classics and explore more diversified development paths for the dynamic inheritance of Chinese zodiac culture and even excellent traditional culture. |
