Based on the case study of Fang Zengxian,this paper expounds the transformation process of Fang Zengxian’s artistic types and ideas in different historical periods and cultural backgrounds,explores various internal and external factors that affect the formation of Fang Zengxian’s artistic style and creation concept,combs the inheritance,accumulation and transformation of Fang Zengxian’s figure painting for tradition,and how to build and promote the formation of the new Zhejiang figure painting’s creation concept and method.Focus on the analysis and interpretation from the ontology language level of his works,so as to grasp the relevant creative laws and aesthetic principles behind his works’ schemata,and explore how Fang Zengxian took the source to realize the transformation of modernity.There are a variety of creative languages and models in contemporary ink figure painting.As a result of long-term thinking about art history,Fang Zengxian inherited a set of painting and realistic creation methods that were established by Ren Bonian,Chen Hongshou,Wu Changshuo,etc.in the early years of the "Shanghai School Heritage",so that the traditional image of the pen and ink language attached to the realistic structure,making its style prominent in the world.However,drawing on the essence of Xu Wei,Gong Xian,Huang Binhong,Pan Tianshou,Lu Yanshao and other pen and ink,combined with western Impressionism,expressionism,modernism,etc.,they boldly transformed the previous language schema,pushing the Chinese figure painting to a new peak.The forging of rigorous style of study has made his figure painting have a very high aesthetic taste and academic content,and it has two functions of current influence and long spread.On the issues related to the art education of ink and wash figure painting,Fang Zengxian changed the teaching method of Qisichakov’s sketch,and established a relatively systematic creation and teaching theoretical system for this purpose,such as the concept of block joint,the theory of linear structure sketch,and the method of sketching creation of memorizing and memorizing,making it a knowledge system that can be taught,learned,and used,greatly reducing the blindness of the combination of Chinese and Western figure painting.It has comprehensively established the basic theory of New Zhejiang School figure painting,and has become the epitome of this academic school.This article is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is a systematic review of the life history of Fang Zengxian,which is divided into three periods based on the different stages of his creation: early,middle,and late.It also analyzes his family background,growth environment,education,and other factors,in order to generate a comprehensive and systematic understanding of Fang Zengxian.The second chapter is the analysis of the aesthetic characteristics of Fang Zengxian’s figure painting,aiming to explore the realistic painting factors in Fang Zengxian’s figure paintings,and explore Fang Zengxian’s inheritance of the spiritual characteristics of traditional literati.The third chapter is the research on the language of Fang Zengxian’s figure painting,which mainly discusses Fang Zengxian’s absorption of diversified art forms and the reform and innovation of basic figure modeling methods.In addition,it attempts to interpret Fang Zengxian’s creation rules and main modeling characteristics in combination with Fang Zengxian’s relevant academic research achievements in figure painting practice.The fourth chapter discusses the enlightenment of Fang Zengxian’s successful artistic experience on the art road,and discusses and analyzes the unique value and significance of Fang Zengxian on the development of Chinese figure painting. |
