The study of Fujian Provincial Examination in the Ming dynasty is an important part of the study of the system of provincial examination in the Ming dynasty.The selection and appointment of examiners and deacons in Fujian provincial examination in Ming dynasty directly decided the operation and fairness of the system of Fujian Provincial Examination,within the scope of examination,there are 244 examiners and 1,104 deacons.Judging from the composition of the imperial examinations and the distribution of the teaching posts,no matter at any stage of the development of the system of selecting and appointing township examiners in the Ming dynasty,to ensure the education of the examiners they employ.The selection and appointment of Fujian provincial examiners was changed from selfappointment of local officials to simultaneous appointment of local officials and officials,and then to the sole power of selection and appointment according to the history of Fujian province.The Bailiff of Fujian Provincial examination was a local official in Fujian province,which was the epitome of the local officials in Ming dynasty.In the Ming dynasty,the funds for the provincial examination in Fujian mainly came from the official fees,which were composed of taxes,Lijia fees and redundancy,with a very small proportion of social donations.The main expenditure includes the funds for the rural examination and examination services.The funds for the rural examination in Fujian were mainly used by the Lijia general tax bank before,and gradually replaced by the population tax bank after the Zhengde,reducing the burden on the common people.The funds for the examination service and the renovation of the Imperial College in Fujian province are mainly made up of official money and silver,and the funds for the examination in Fujian province as a whole continue to increase.In the Ming dynasty,there were at least 8,386 examinees in Fujian,of which 7,771 were Chinese examinees in Fujian and about 562 were Chinese examinees outside Fujian,53 unknowns.The geographical distribution of the chinese-style Juren Group in Fujian is characterized by a wide and extremely unbalanced distribution,with more four prefectures along the coast and fewer in the mountainous areas,in general,administrative territorial entity,economic level,cultural heritage,imperial examination family,cultural customs and other factors.There are more chinese-style examinees outside the province,especially in Nanjing and Beijing.Most of them are officials and students from Fujian,mainly from the coastal areas.The study of Fujian Provincial Examination in Ming dynasty has certain positive significance to the study of Fujian Local Society and Fujian Imperial Examination History in Ming dynasty...
