Research On The Oil Painting Creation Of Chu Folk Houses From The Perspective Of Semiotics

With the continuous progress and development of society,art around the world is all-embracing and developing towards diversification.Meanwhile,it is also subtly influencing our artistic aesthetics.However,under the influence of Western artistic trends of thought,some artists’ foreign ideas and "de-localization" phenomenon in artistic creation are becoming more and more common.How to transmit information more directly and accurately in this complex trend of artistic thought,and to study more favorable symbols in visual communication,has become the issue to be discussed in this paper.Starting from the point of semiotics and taking Zhoulaozui Old street as an example,this paper firstly discusses the relationship between Chinese contemporary oil painting and traditional cultural symbols.This paper analyzes the application of Chinese traditional architectural art symbols in contemporary art works.Secondly,it extracts the form elements of Zhoulaozui Old street residential buildings and converts them into symbols by using the theory of three points of law of Pierce,and establishes the symbolic elements of artistic creation.Finally,it explores the application of architectural symbols of Zhoulaozui Old street in oil painting creation.
