A Study Of Pan Zhulan’s Poetry And Painting

Pan Zhulan(1909-2001)is a famous contemporary Fujian calligrapher and painter,poet,national first-class artist,a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association,and a member of the Xiling Seal Society.He has made outstanding artistic achievements in his life.In his later years,he won the first "Lanting calligraphy Achievement Award" jointly organized by the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles.Su Dongpo said: "The poems and paintings are the same,natural craftsmanship and freshness." Poetry and painting both express people’s ideals and spirits.Pan Zhulan’s poetry and painting art follows the path of traditional literati,and his works of art reflect the spiritual pursuit of harmony and unity between people and painting.In particular,his artistic creation of the integration of poetry,calligraphy,painting and printing shows the expression of the lofty realm of calligraphy and painting art incisively and vividly,which has high humanistic value.Pan Zhulan has lived in Fuzhou for a long time.He loves the social history and culture of his hometown and has made great contributions to promoting the development of Fujian regional culture,publicizing and introducing Fujian regional culture.During pan Zhulan’s long teaching career,he cultivated many excellent students and disciples for the art world of Fujian,and promoted the development of Fuzhou painting and calligraphy art.This paper mainly focuses on the research of Pan Zhulan’s classical poetry and the creation of literati paintings,analyzes and traces the development of Pan Zhulan’s poetry and painting art from the perspective of history and culture,and focuses on the artistic achievements of his classical poetry and literati paintings,And from the perspective of art,it analyzes the artistic effect of Pan Zhulan’s poetry and painting art and the integration of poetry,calligraphy,painting and seal,and the influence of his social activities on the contemporary art world,such as his honest and noble personality,his profound calligraphy and painting cultivation and willingness to teach people.
