Three Research On The Summary Of Yuefu Poetry Collection In The General Catalogue Of Sikuquanshu

Siku series of books is an important achievement of the official large-scale Book revision activities in the mid Qing Dynasty(1661-1820).As a comprehensive work,the General Catalogue of Sikuquanshu represents the mainstream academic concept and understanding level in the early and mid Qing Dynasty(1644-1820).This paper studies the relevant Yuefu abstracts in the General Catalogue of Sikuquanshu,and selects three topics which are still of research significance.The first chapter studies the controversial origin of Yuefu,and finds that many scholars confuse the differences between the origin of Yuefu official office and Yuefu Poetry.The view of minister of Siku is that Yuefu official office was established in Han Dynasty,and the origin of Yuefu Poetry can be traced back to pre Qin and ancient times.Moreover,Yuefu is closely related to book of songs and Ci and Qu.It is found that the core of the change lies in the loss of "GEFA".The second chapter explores minister of Siku’s view of Yuefu Poetry Style,and finds that minister of Siku’s definition of Yuefu Poetry is broad.No matter whether he is happy or not,according to the way of creation,in addition to "chaomiao movement",those who "fill the tune according to the score","pick poetry into music","get the meaning from the title" and "namely the famous chapter" can be classified into Yuefu Poetry;they affirm the status and allegorical function of new Yuefu Poetry;they are of great significance to Ming Dynasty Most of the archaic Yuefu Poems are skeptical and critical,but they affirm that the spirit of inheriting the tradition has the significance of the times;they praise Yuefu Poetry Anthology as the first excellent edition of Yuefu,and the classification of Yuefu Poems does not exceed Guo Maoqian’s category;they oppose the Yuefu Poems with delicate style,praise the Yuefu Poems with elegant and vigorous style,and emphasize the "narrative" and "Satire" of Yuefu The characteristics of "Yu" must have the Yuefu Poems that feel the sadness and music and develop the spirit according to the events.In the third chapter,from the selection of classical Yuefu writers and works in the compendium summary,we can see the classicalization of Yuefu in the Qing Dynasty.We find that minister of Siku not only agrees with the classical ancient books and famous writers in the past dynasties,but also excavates some excellent writers and works that few people study,such as Zhou Tingzhen and Haidai Huiji.The comments of minister of Siku even became positioning comments,which were widely quoted by later generations,promoting the classical structure of Yuefu in the middle of Qing Dynasty.The minister of Siku made comprehensive evaluation of Yuefu writers and Yuefu Poetry collections,constructed the development system of Yuefu,and also created a unique "synopsis style" writing style.A large number of "synopsis style" works came out,and almost all writers would write synopsis before their works,which made the style of comments more popular in the Qing Dynasty.
