Study On The Use Of Formal Language In The Creation Of Contemporary Fine Brushwork On Still Life

With a history of over a thousand years,brush painting occupies an important place in traditional Chinese painting and is still active in contemporary painting.Still life,an inanimate object created for human beings,is present in all aspects of life,and as a subject matter it appears frequently in contemporary brush painting.The reasons for the rise of still life in contemporary brush painting are complex and varied,such as the accelerated urbanization,rapid economic development,the influence of foreign cultures,and the emotional needs of contemporary people.Under these influences,still life has replaced traditional objects on the screen as a medium for the painter to express his own emotions.It is noteworthy that the process of globalization has brought about diversified theories of thought,and with the interpenetration of Chinese and Western cultures,the forms of expression in contemporary painting have become extensive.In Western painting theory,formal language is the basis of the picture,the interpretation of the concept of creation of the work and the unique way of communication between the author and the viewer.Therefore,exploring the development of contemporary still-life brush painting from the perspective of formal language is an important inspiration to promote the colorfulness and newness of brush painting in the new era.By analyzing and summarizing the works of still-life brush painting by influential brush painters such as Gao Xi,Lei Miao,Hang Chunhui,Chen Lin and Qin Ai,we study in detail the basic features of the formal language of the picture in terms of color expression and picture layout.On the basis of this study and absorption,he continues to practice and explore in the creation of still-life brush painting,and explores the formal language that expresses his spirit and emotion.I try to provide some new perspectives and ideas for the diversification and individualization of the formal language of the picture,and provide some practical experience for the creation of contemporary still-life brush painting.
