A Preliminary Study On The Formal Language Of Contemporary New Meticulous Flower And Bird Painting And Creative Practice

The development of meticulous painting has a long history.With the development of modern Chinese society,the expression techniques of meticulous painting are becoming more and more diverse.Compared with the traditional claborate-style painting,on the one hand,the ’ new claborate-style painting ’ continues the traditional claborate-style painting aesthetics,on the other hand,it boldly absorbs the western painting concept.Contemporary claborate-style painting combines modern aesthetics and ideological demands,forming a ’ new ’ fashion with the characteristics of the times.Through the artistic practice of a batch of painters with novel painting styles,’ New Meticulous Painting ’ has quickly entered the public ’s vision and injected fresh blood into the development of contemporary Chinese painting.This paper starts with the formation and development of ’ new fine brushwork ’painting,and expounds the contemporary nature of ’ new fine brushwork ’ painting.Secondly,the traditional fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting and the ’ new fine brushwork ’ flower-and-bird painting are discussed in the three aspects of theme selection,composition form and color expression,combined with the works of representative painters,showing the transformation of the times in the art form;this paper focuses on the formal language of ’ new fine brushwork ’ painting to explain the guidance and influence of the author ’s creative practice.Through his own creative practice,he has a deeper learning and understanding of ’ new fine brushwork ’painting in artistic expression.In the process of practice,the author realizes many shortcomings in his creation,and some reflections and insights obtained have certain reference for future creation.The conclusion is a summary of this article.Through the combination of the research on the theory of ’ new meticulous ’ painting and my own creative practice,the author is of great significance to explore the creation of meticulous flower and bird painting in line with the contemporary context.
