The use of thin materials in lacquer art began thousands of years ago.With the rapid development of science and technology,the use of thin materials in lacquer has evolved from the individual to the diverse,bringing a new dimension to the creation of lacquer painting.By using them in lacquer painting and exploring their characteristics,their decorative and unique qualities can be brought into full play,adding a new dimension and artistic charm to the creation of lacquer painting and promoting the diversification of the art of lacquer painting.The study of the use of thin materials in lacquer painting and their aesthetic implications can not only contribute to the innovation of the artistic language,texture and style of lacquer painting,but can also bring more charm and joy to the art of lacquer painting.This paper focuses on the use and aesthetic implications of thin materials in lacquer painting,and is structured around four chapters through documentary analysis,experimental research and case studies.In the first chapter,the definition and categories of thin materials are presented,and the historical development of thin materials is explored.In the second chapter,the common effects and techniques of using thin materials in lacquer painting are discussed in the context of inlay,fluttering,foil variation,foil painting and piling effects,and the techniques required to apply these effects are also discussed.The third section uses works from national lacquer exhibitions over the last ten years as examples to explain the aesthetic implications of the thin materials used in lacquer painting,thus pointing out the material,texture and spiritual beauty they contain.The fourth chapter presents an analysis of the author’s creations,expressing the techniques and aesthetic implications of thin materials in his own practice and perceptions,in search of the charm of thin materials and the significance of broadening the material language of lacquer painting. |
