Analysis And Performance Of Rachmaninov Piano Adaptation "Sadorrow Of Love"

This article takes Rachmaninov’s piano adaptation "The Sorrow of Love" as the research object,and analyzes the musical characteristics and performance of the work "The Sorrow of Love".On the basis of comparing the harmony and form of the original and adapted music,this paper further analyzes the musical characteristics of the piano adaptation "Love’s Sorrow" from the aspects of polyphonic thinking,polyphonic thinking,and harmonic thinking.Then,it conducts a comparative study of the performance versions of Rachmaninov,Ashkenazi,and Katharine Stott from multiple perspectives,and uses them for reference and learning.In combination with its own performance practice,it analyzes the performance of the works from aspects such as voice control and polyphonic thinking,the use of elastic rhythm,and irregular dual tones.It combines theoretical and practical research to better complete the second creation,Improve their professional ability and music literacy.
