Music Analysis And Performance Interpretation Of Debussy’s Masque

Masquerade is a piece of French composer Achille-Claude Debussy(1862-1918),which was composed in 1904."Masquerade" in Debussy’s separate piano music is a longer piece,the use of composition techniques,as well as sound effects have a strong fantasy flavor.This paper is divided into three chapters,a systematic study of the Masque.The first chapter discusses the creation background of Masquerade,starting from the historical background of the composer,the influence of impressionist painting and the characteristics of the composer’s piano music creation.Chapter two analyzes the music from six perspectives: musical image,musical form and harmony,rhythm and rhythm,fragmented melody,strength and speed,mode and tonality.The third chapter analyzes and expounds the main points of playing from four aspects: the structure of playing and the grasp of the phrase,the method of touching the key and the music image,the application of the pedal and the enlightenment of the playing version.Through the above analysis,more detailed research results are obtained,that is,the song in the creation of both standard and innovative,with a strong Debussy style creation characteristics.In the practice of performance,it adopts the layout from small to large,and makes in-depth analysis in the application of touch keys and pedals,providing practical and theoretical basis for the shaping of music image.
