Research On The Declining Filial Piety Of Young Farmers And Countermeasures

Filial piety is not only the essence of Chinese traditional culture,but also an important part of Chinese traditional virtues.It is a unique symbol of the Chinese national moral code,and also the starting point and important core of the Chinese family ethical code.Under the new historical conditions,the inheritance of filial piety is of great significance for the inheritance of history and culture.It is also necessary to carry forward and inherit filial piety for strengthening the construction of family style,inheriting fine family style and constructing a good social order.Filial piety is an important dimension of rural civilization construction in the new era,but also the soul of rural civilization.Young farmers are the main group of effective inheritance of filial piety in rural areas,and also serve the backbone of rural economic and social development.With the deepening of reform and opening up as well as the accelerated transformation of today’s social development,the economic and living conditions and ideological values of young farmers have changed compared with the previous peasant groups.Coupled with the change of rural family size,the change of life style and the aggravation of population aging trend,the cultural ethics of some young farmers have also changed.Under the influence of multiple factors,the problem of filial piety among some young farmers is also increasingly prominent,which reflects the phenomenon of declining filial piety among some young farmers in our rural society,which is worth deep thought and concern.Paying attention to the filial piety of young farmers from the perspective of ideological and political education,exploring the reasons behind the problems and putting forward feasible countermeasures from the perspectives of ideological guidance,environmental rendering,value shaping and so on,is conducive to better filial piety education and inheritance of young farmers.By guiding young farmers to inherit and carry forward filial piety,the excellent traditional filial piety culture of China can be inherited,so as to promote the construction of rural civilization,promote the establishment of harmonious relationship between rural families,and further enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of rural development.Based on the perspective of ideological and political education,this paper comprehensively uses literature research method,social investigation method,systematic analysis method and comprehensive analysis method,and combines with the particularity of young farmers,to sort out and demonstrate the contents related to filial piety,the problems and causes of the declining filial piety of young farmers,and the strategies to deal with the declining filial piety of young farmers.This paper is divided into the following four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction of the thesis.This paper mainly discusses the purpose and significance of the research,a comprehensive analysis of the domestic and foreign research status of the decline of young farmers filial piety,the research ideas and research methods of this paper targeted elaborated,put forward the innovation of this paper.The second chapter is the theoretical overview of the thesis.This paper mainly summarizes the connotation of young farmers,the definition of filial piety and the concept of filial piety among young farmers,as well as the significance of promoting filial piety among young farmers,and expounds the theoretical basis of the research on the decline of filial piety among young farmers and the countermeasures.The third chapter is the core part of the thesis.Through questionnaires and field interviews,this paper analyzes the declining filial piety of young farmers as follows: some young farmers have weak sense of supporting their elders,lack of material support,lack of spiritual comfort,poor life care and lack of compliance to their elders’ wishes.The reasons for the decline of filial piety among young farmers are as follows: the acceleration of the pace of life affects the way of filial piety of young farmers,the increase of life pressure weakens the degree of filial piety of young farmers,the change of family structure leads to the shift of family focus,the weakening of the traditional supervision power of rural public opinion,and the weakening of filial piety education in the past rural school education.This part provides a practical basis for a comprehensive and rational analysis of the decline of young farmers’ filial piety.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the previous studies,based on the perspective of ideological and political education,the combination of internal promotion and external education influence,put forward the countermeasures to solve the problem of the decline of filial piety of young farmers.Firstly,it starts from improving the principles that young farmers should follow for filial piety,and then puts forward countermeasures from four aspects: optimizing the rural cultural atmosphere of filial piety,paying attention to the education and edification of filial piety culture in schools,strengthening the organic integration of fine family traditions and filial piety inheritance,and vigorously developing economy to lay the material foundation of filial piety inheritance.In the face of a large group of young farmers,we should correctly guide young farmers to inherit the excellent traditional culture of filial piety,build all-round education and inheritance guarantee of filial piety for young farmers,and solve the problem of declining filial piety of young farmers in a multi-dimensional and targeted way,so as to promote rural revitalization in an all-round way.
