| As the main writing carrier of scholarss letters,Jianzhi is small in size and decorated with patterns in the way of woodblock-watermark,which contains literatis aesthetic taste and has both practical and aesthetic needs.The ‘Beiping Jianpu’ is a traditional woodblock-watermark publication edited by Lu Xun and Zheng Zhenduo in December1933.It contains 330 pieces of excellent Jianzhi in Beijing and Tianjin.Although it was published in the Republic of China,it can also be seen the style of Jianzhi in the late Qing Dynasty.This paper aims to study the relationship between engraving and Chinese ink painting.How does the Jianzhi in ‘Beiping Jianpu’ retell the sketches?How does engraving and printing express ink interest?This article will take ‘Beiping Jianpu’ as an example to explain the relationship between painting,engraving and printing in Jianzhi.This paper compares the paper image in ‘Beiping Jianpu’ with its drawers drawings and works.Through the analysis of the relationship between engraving and painting in ‘Beiping Jianpu’,this paper expounds how the traditional woodblock-watermark expresses the meaning of ink.Finally,the theory and practice are linked to explore the traditional woodblock-watermark printmaking process and combine the individual’s professional reprinting.It is expected that the research experience and experience of an art practitioner can provide assistance for future scholars who study ‘Beiping Jianpu’ and traditional woodblock-watermark. |
