The Expansion And Application Of Iconic Building Graphics In Campus Visual Image Design

Symbolic building graphics refers to the use of a variety of design techniques to convey information with graphic language,which is a comprehensive reflection of the material form of the building and its inner spiritual culture.Campus visual image plays an important role in the spiritual and cultural construction of the campus.It can display the overall image of the school intuitively and effectively.It has strong appeal and communication power.In recent years,landmark buildings on campus occupy a pivotal position in campus culture because of their cultural implication and humanistic spirit,which plays a vital role in campus culture.More and more design works use graphic language to interpret landmark buildings.Iconic buildings directly express architectural features through forms of representation such as concrete,abstract and illustration,convey the symbolic meaning of buildings,and generate emotional resonance with viewers,helping viewers to understand the culture and characteristics of the campus.By analyzing and studying the iconic buildings in "Fuchun Bay Future Primary School",the author designed the iconic building graphics,applied the principles of modern design composition to the architectural graphic design,extracted the features of the iconic buildings from the graphic elements design of the iconic buildings,explored the symbolic significance of the iconic buildings in the campus,and also applied the psychological colors of the audience.The composition and color balance should be handled well,and the graphic design of iconic buildings and auxiliary graphic expansion design should be carried out to highlight the influence of architectural graphic elements on the whole picture and applied to the visual image system of the school brand.The author combines modern design theories and techniques with design practice to conduct research.Moreover,the author explores the application of iconic building graphics in excellent brand cases and its application status,analyzes the expression forms of iconic building graphics,and combs and summarizes the design thinking of architectural graphics.It also provides some reference for the application of graphic design of landmark buildings in campus visual image in the future.
