The "post-root-seeking novels" discussed in this paper mainly refer to the novels that have reexamined Chinese traditional culture with modern consciousness since the1990 s,focused on exploring the life isomorphic relationship between national traditional culture and individual survival,and sought the identity orientation and spiritual conversion of modern Chinese people in the process of reshaping the national spiritual and cultural map."Post-root-seeking novels" inherits and develops some characteristics of "root-seeking novels" in narrative,but it mainly focuses on realism and flexibly uses various modern narrative techniques,so as to echo the inherent tension of traditional culture in the process of modernization and globalization.Therefore,on the basis of inheriting some afterpulse of "Root-seeking novels","post-Root-seeking novels" also reflect their own transcendence and heterogeneity.This thesis is divided into three chapters,the connotation characteristics,practical significance and narrative strategy of the "post-root-seeking novel" are comprehensively combed.The first chapter briefly combs the connotation and characteristics of "post-root-seeking novels",mainly from the material and spiritual aspects of traditional culture,and summarizes the life isomorphic relationship between the individuals and traditional culture written in "post-Root-seeking novels".On the one hand,this isomorphic relationship of life is embodied in the carrying and influence of traditional material culture on Chinese People’s Daily survival paradigm,daily life ideal and daily life heart;on the other hand,it is more embodied in the shaping and construction of traditional spiritual culture on Chinese people’s life wisdom and spiritual belief.It is through this kind of life isomorphic relationship that "post-root-seeking novels" make big and small works,go deep into the daily life and spirit of Chinese people,dig out the characteristics of national traditional culture rooted in the surface of life,and reflect the cultural conscious significance different from "root-seeking novels".The second chapter focuses on the author’s creative intention and meaning,and experiences the realistic value of the national cultural spirit involved in the "post-root-seeking novel".In this part,this thesis holds that "post-root-seeking novels" excavate and reuse the Chinese national spirit in the ups and downs of history,and integrate the Chinese personality spirit based on virtue,the Chinese social collectivism spirit of the country and the world,the Chinese harmonious spirit of nature and man,and finally complete the representation of the rich multi-dimensional map of national spirit.The rich and multi-dimensional map of Chinese national spirit is not only reflected in the outline of the characteristics of Chinese traditional regional culture in the "post-root-seeking novels",but also in the writing of the cultural form based on the folk routine.Through the positioning of the rich and multi-dimensional spiritual map of our nation,we can further pursue the path of the conversion of Chinese national spirit in the interweaving of tradition and modernity.The third chapter mainly begins with the narrative strategy of "post-root-seeking novel" and combines the relevant discussion of the first two parts to specifically analyze the text structure of the multi-tension interweaving in "post-Root-seeking novel",the knowledge writing and meaning of traditional culture and the bi-directional penetration of the emotions and ideas of the creation subject,showing the role and significance of these techniques in the communication of the text connotation of "post-Root-seeking novel".
