Research On Musicians In Xia Zhiqiu

Xia Zhiqiu is a musician in the modern music history of China.As a musician,his musical contributions are reflected in the following aspects: in the aspect of music creation,he composed The Final Victory Belong Us,Sing Praises to 800 Brave Men,Nostalgia of Homeland,Ballad of Selling Flowers and other songs,which greatly encouraged people’s enthusiasm for Anti-Japanese War,and are still popular and influential today.In the aspect of music performance,Wuhan Choir was organized to perform in South Asia for the salvation of the nation.With music as a weapon,it not only stimulated the morale of the Chinese people at home and abroad,but also trained the ability of chorus performance.In music education,he served as a professor in the Orchestra Department of the Central Conservatory of Music.He not only trained a number of influential musicians,but also wrote trumpet courses,compiled music textbooks,and participated in the development of fully controlled tuning trumpet.For such a musician who has made contributions to the history of modern and contemporary Chinese music,there has been no systematic research result in the academic circle so far.In view of this,this paper takes musician Xia Zhiqiu as the research object from the research perspective of modern Chinese music history.Based on collecting,mining and sorting out relevant documents,this paper uses the basic research methods of music history to explore all aspects of musician Xia Zhiqiu,aiming at giving a fair and realistic evaluation of such a historical figure.Promote the development of Chinese modern music history.The full text consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction explains the reason of the topic,research significance,research summary,research methods and innovation;The text consists of four parts: first,on the basis of music literature,expounds the musician Xia Zhiqiu’s life experience;Second,based on music activities,this paper expounds musician Xia Zhiqiu’s music creation during the Anti-Japanese War,music practice and music education practice of leading Wuhan Chorus to tour in Nanyang.Third,on the basis of music works and music teaching,analyze and elaborate the representative works of musicians Xia Zhiqiu and music education ideas;Based on the above,summarize the historical contribution of Xia Zhiqiu,a musician;Conclusion The author expounds the contemporary significance of Xia Zhiqiu as a composer,choral conductor and music educator.
