Study On The Closed Space Narration Of Police Documentary

With the updating and iteration of the times,new modes of production such as industrialization and informatization have led to changes in social structure and progress in social concepts.As a representation tool for carrying real images,the function of documentary is not only to show and record the real social features such as nature and history,but also to insight into the social and human survival conditions hidden behind the image.With the development of documentary,a number of professional documentary works have been produced.These works take the professional environment as the background,focus on individuals or groups in a certain industry,show the work content and professional quality of the industry,and trigger social reflection by showing their living conditions.Police documentary is one of them.In the police documentary,the closed space is the main element that runs through the whole film and has special social functions.The characters and events are reposed on the closed space,forming the closed space narrative.Based on the space theory and the author’s graduation work Sticking to G60 and other films of the same theme,this paper discusses the creation content and narrative construction of police documentary from the perspective of closed space,and analyzes its humanistic value.In the first chapter,the closed space is used as the narrative medium of the film,and the different symbols present classify the closed space;The second chapter expounds the narrative function of the enclosed space,and confirms the role of the enclosed space in promoting the development of the plot from three aspects: viewpoint,character and audio-visual;The third chapter discusses the value of closed space narration for police documentaries and reveals the theme implication.This paper tries to further enrich the theoretical research of closed space narration through case analysis,and provide a new perspective for the creation and research of police documentary.
