A Study On The Design Of Children’s Picture Books With Local Cultural Themes

In recent years,with the national emphasis on promoting local culture and reading children’s picture books,local culture-themed children’s picture books have also been developed to a certain extent.The expression of local culture through children’s picture books can not only enrich the theme and content of children’s picture books,but also promote the spread and innovation of local culture.From the perspective of inheriting local culture,this project hopes to study and discuss the integration of local cultural elements into the creation of children’s picture books with children’s picture books as the carrier,and explore the path and strategy of integrating local culture into children’s picture books.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter discusses the research background,significance,purpose and innovation of the subject,summarizes the theoretical and practical research status of the subject at home and abroad,and finally discusses the research ideas of the subject and four research methods,including field investigation,literature research,interdisciplinary method and case analysis method.The second chapter mainly discusses the concept of children’s picture books,analyzes the physiological,cognitive,aesthetic,game needs and other characteristics of the audience of children’s picture books,and summarizes the characteristics of children’s picture books through case analysis.The third chapter discusses the concept of local culture,analyzes the expression form of local culture,discusses the content extraction of local culture from the three aspects of local literature,local geographical environment and local art,and discusses the advantages of integrating local culture into children’s picture books.The fourth chapter puts forward the design strategy of children’s picture books in local culture on the basis of relevant theoretical research and case analysis.Finally,combined with theoretical research,practical creation of picture books was carried out,and local culture was combined with children’s picture books to create a series of children’s picture books called "Dongtou Marine Animal Stories".This paper combines theoretical research and practical research on children’s picture books with local culture themes,hoping to provide ideas and references for future research and practical design of children’s picture books with local culture themes.
