Inherited And Innovated-A Study Of The Value Of Traditional "Restrictions" To Contemporary Art Creation

In the creation process of today’s artistic works,if we simply combine the pursuit of combining with the tradition,or simply integrate the traditional artistic language and symbols into the works,such a practice may not be able to fully reflect the spirit of traditional Chinese art.In fact,due to the influence of many different factors,there will be various cultural differences between Chinese traditional art and new media;when the traditional expression form,topic selection and creative media face the emerging media in contemporary art,the potential "barrier" problem inevitably emerges,and forms the traditional "barrier".This paper aims to explore the causes of the "barrier" and how to transform it into creativity,and even intends to eliminate this traditional "barrier" across the "modern dilemma" of traditional art as the research starting point and destination of this paper.This paper starts from how to produce the traditional "barrier",reviews the relationship between the tradition and the contemporary art in the new era,analyzes the influence of the traditional "barrier" on the contemporary art through individual cases,and seeks an effective way to break through the traditional "barrier".
