| Folktale presents different forms in the change of media,facing different challenges and opportunities.Folktale storytelling activities are not as pessimistic as Benjamin ’s prediction that they are on the verge of extinction,but have achieved a certain degree of revival.The demand for folktale storytelling and the charm of storytelling activities are two important factors in the revival of folktale.People affected by oral culture are more inclined to community and extroversion,and people affected by written culture are more inclined to introspection.The storytelling activity is a kind of activity with strong sensibility,integrity and community.Therefore,in contemporary life,the storytelling activity is more attractive to children and adults with less text immersion.Folktale storytelling activities require people ’s participation,communication,and emotional input.These needs are precisely the desire for emotion and participation in the era of technological monopoly.Folktale is still needed in contemporary society and still exude its own charm and vitality.Through the method of network field investigation,this paper uses the theory of media environment school and narration studies to study the folktale storytelling situation in we media,in order to achieve three goals.First,try to present the appearance of folktales in we media and enrich the meaning of folktale;second,summarize the content and narrative characteristics of folktales in we media.Classify the narrator,observe the performance of the folktale audience,and summarize the characteristics of the narrator and the audience,so as to deepen the understanding of the folktale storytelling activities;third,it reveals the revival of folktale in we media,and dialogues with the prejudice of the media and the concept of " network carnival," so as to deepen the understanding of " public" in folklore.This paper can be divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,the second part is the main body of the paper,and the third part is the author ’s thinking.The introduction includes research origin and research significance,research review,key concepts,research tasks,research methods and research theory.The introduction reflects the consciousness of the method used in this paper.I participated in the observation of the folktale storytelling in we media,and used statistics,comparison,in-depth interviews and other methods to study those objects.This part introduces the theory used in this paper,that is,the theory of media environment school.The second part is the main body of the paper,which is divided into three chapters.The first chapter summarizes the folktale storytelling in we media into three categories,namely,the form of narration in audio,the form of narration in live broadcast and the form of short story in we media form.On the basis of classification,the present situation of folktale storytelling in we media is presented,which allows us to see the revival of folktale in we media and broadens the research scope of folktale.The second chapter summarizes the content and narrative characteristics of folktale storytelling in we media.The content of folktales in we media includes both traditional stories and contemporary life stories.The second chapter also presents the temporal and spatial characteristics of folktale storytelling,and its reasons.The interaction characteristics between the narrator and the folktale audience,and the characteristics of the narrator ’s active construction of the storytelling’s situation.The third chapter is the analysis of folk storytellers and audiences in we media.Dividing the narrator into collecting narrator,adapting narrator and creative narrator,and summarizes the characteristics of different types of narrators.According to the audience ’s performance,the characteristics of the audience are summarized.It is found that children and their parents have a greater demand for storytelling.Some elderly people rely more on storytelling activities.Middle-aged listeners maybe the main force to reward the narrator,and some young people will also listen to the story.It analyzes the operation rules and emotional expression of the audience group formed around the narrator;and from the interaction between the narrator and the audience to understand the folktale,found the six characteristics of the folktale storytelling in we media.That is to say,folktales can reflect the current public values.The oral tradition of folk stories still exists and is very attractive.The companionship of storytelling activities is an important factor to attract audiences.The phenomenon of story adaptation is prominent.Folktale storytelling is gradually professionalized,and folktale has internal differences.The third part is the forth chapter,which is author ’s four thoughts based on the folktale storytelling in we media.First,folktale has achieved a certain degree of revival in we media;secondly,the ’ public ’ in we media is a person who is in suffering and seeking hope,a person who has freedom and is constrained,and a person who needs researchers to think deeply to understand them;thirdly,in the network life,public follows certain rules,has emotional experience,and has a certain sense of belonging,which reflects the rational and emotional pursuit of ’ public ’;fourthly,the folktale storytelling in we media retains its own charm,that is,it is an emotional communication between people,rather than the ’impersonal ’ product in we media.The media cannot completely change things.People face the media and have the right to choose independently. |
