Research On Physical Space Expansion And Social Space Transformation Of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone For High Quality Development

Along with the rapid economic growth and deep industrial transformation in our country,the urbanization model of the "scale expanded" in the past has been quietly transformed,and the urbanization route with high quality development is constantly explored.Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone has its unique location characteristics,which can provide policy reference for other regions.This paper firstly combs the industrial transformation process of East Lake High-tech Zone,and then goes deep into the traditional physical space-social space research to dig into the urban physical space expansion and social space transformation process and characteristics of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone,and interprets the successful experience of rapid transformation and development of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone.It has important reference significance for the urban spatial transformation and social and economic development of Wuhan city and even the central region of China,and also provides a case reference for the future exploration of the high-quality development of urban physical space and social space in the new period and under the new background.In terms of research content,this paper takes Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone as the research area,extracts the data information of enterprises settled in East Lake High-tech Zone in different years,and determines the development stage of East Lake High-tech Zone.In the study of urban physical space expansion,land use type transfer matrix,kernel density analysis and standard deviation ellipse were used to analyze the process and characteristics of physical space expansion in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone.In the study of urban social space transformation,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview are used to collect information of social groups in each stage of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone,so as to obtain the characteristics of social space transformation stage of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone.The results show that:(1)Based on the registered year and number of enterprises in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone,the research stages of the physical space expansion and social transformation of the East Lake High-Tech Development Zone can be determined as four characteristic stages,namely,1988-2001;From 2001 to 2012;From 2012 to 2019 and from 2019 to 2022.(2)The urban physical space expansion of the East Lake High-tech Zone in Wuhan has significant characteristics,showing obvious stage differences and a pattern of "first west and then east".The characteristics of land use type change in the four stages are consistent,showing that the decrease of cultivated land area and the increase of construction land area are roughly equal to the decrease of cultivated land area and the increase of construction land area.The physical space expansion of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone is unevenly distributed in time and space.Taking 2012 as the boundary,the first two stages and the second two stages differ significantly in terms of distribution direction and dispersion degree,showing a pattern of "first west and then east" on the whole.(3)In the three stages of 1988-2001,2001-2012 and 2012-2019,the transformation of social space in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone has been basically completed,and a large range of relatively homogeneous new social space has been formed.In other words,the new social space dominated by local farmers has been replaced by finance,real estate,Internet,tertiary industry and high-tech industry.In some areas,the phenomenon of "second gentrification" has appeared.
