Research On The Movement Of Supporting The Front In Liaoning Before And After The Founding Of The People’s Republic Of China

Forward Support Movement is an activity in which local governments and social forces support the front line with human,material and financial resources.The key to the smooth implementation of the Movement in a region depends on whether it is people-centered and represents the fundamental interests of the broadest possible range of people.Before and after the founding of the People’s Republic of China(PRC),Liaoning People’s Forward Support Movement refers to the movement of Liaoning People in support of the Front during the Liberation War and the War to Resist U.S.Aggression and Aid Korea.The Movement was divided into three stages: Liaoning people’s support for the Ciao-Chen Campaign,for the area inside Shanhaiguan Pass after the liberation of Northeast China,and for the War to Resist U.S.Aggression and Aid Korea.Forward Support Movement is extremely representative,especially in the investigation of Liaoning people’s support for the Ciao-Chen Campaign and the War to Resist U.S.Aggression and Aid Korea which not only played a significant role in the victory of the war,but also in the establishment and consolidation of New China,further demonstrating the great role of the thinking on people’s war.Since entering the new era,the valuable experience of Liaoning People’s Forward Support Movement has played an important role in China’s socialist modernization and military modernization logistics construction.The thesis studies Liaoning Peoples Forward Support Movement from the following aspects.The first chapter introduces briefly the basis of topic selection,significance of research,current situation and method of research at home and abroad.The theoretical basis and the realistic basis for the formation of the Movement are explored in Chapter Two.The theoretical basis includes Marx’s and the Chinese Communists’ view on people,the theory of people’s war,and the justice of war,which justify the formation of the Movement.The inevitability of Liaoning People’s Forward Support Movement can be seen by analyzing the realistic basis of the oppression and disasters suffered by the people in Liaoning,the realization of the people being the masters of the country under the leadership of the Party,and the contrast in power between the people’s army and the enemy.Then the development of Liaoning People’s Forward Support Movement is expounded,including the touching examples of Liaoning people’s selfless dedication and support to the frontline in various ways without fear of difficulties and danger during the Ciao-Chen Campaign,the period when the Northeast Liberation Army entered the country to support national liberation,and the War to Resist U.S.Aggression and Aid Korea.People from all walks of life donated money and materials and joined the army,which made great contributions to the establishment and consolidation of New China.By exploring specific examples of Liaoning people’s support for the front line at various stages before and after the founding of the PRC,the strategic,extensive and active characteristics of the Movement are thus summarized.The inspiration and value of Liaoning People’s Forward Support Movement to contemporary society is elaborated in Chapter Four.In this new era of profound changes in the domestic and overseas environment and rapid advances in information and technology,the summary of the experience of Liaoning People’s Support for the Front is useful for today’s socialist modernization and modernization war.
