The "emptiness" and "reality" are not only important guidelines for Chinese art creation and commentary,but also the most distinctive and distinctive spiritual pearls in traditional art paintings.The "emptiness" and "reality" are also the aesthetic realm that artists tirelessly pursue.In the long and rich history of artistic development,whether it is from the creation of art to the completion of artistic works,from the objective presentation of art to the subjective understanding of art,or from the acceptance of art to the aesthetic style of art,all embody the aesthetic principles of "emptiness" and "reality".This article consists of three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.The main text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter first analyzes the "emptiness" and "reality" in Taoist Confucianism and the field of Chinese art.The second chapter explores pipa performance from the perspectives of "emptiness" and "reality".The third chapter applies the "transformation of emptiness into reality","transformation of reality into emptiness",and "coexistence of emptiness and reality" of the idea of emptiness and reality to the artistic practice of pipa performance.
